Had stayed in this hotel 2 weeks ago before heading to Hong Kong. A deposit is rm300 as is expensive for a 4 rating star hotel. Normally rm200 is required..but it's fine for me. The room is cozy with a simple deco. A bit upset me is the wifi connection is really unstable as I can't send my emails and connect to my business partners. Hope management will look into this matter seriously as this hotel is in the middle of the city.

Room Tip: Room facing back lane is quiet rather than facing Pavillion Mall as currently there's a construction still going on.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. The room size is big enough and clean. The location is perfect. the bathroom is like an open shower room, not suitable for business traveller with 2 twin bed business. The wifi is bad, connection is up and down. The worst thing is the breakfast and restaurant. Consideringg a 4* hotel and price, the breakfast is nightmare and worst I have tried in my life. I think is better the hotel sells rooms only.

is up and down.

Dear Jyogianto,

Thank you for staying with us recently. Our room’s design is trendy and with an open concept, hence, most business people will opt for our single superior room for more privacy.

We have since upgraded our band width and this exercise has just been completed. My sincere apology with regard to your breakfast, for your info, the café that served breakfast to our guests is outsourced, I will discuss with their Management on their overall service and buffet spread. We do have guests who opt for room only.

On behalf of our service team, we look forward to be of service to you again in the near future.

Warm Regards,

The hotel is in a good spot and our room was huge, but there were a few odd things - I'm not sure how the eco credentials worked....
No restaurant which was a bit odd, but there was a fantastic foodcourt in the basement of the building next door which was almost like an undercover hawkers market...so you would never go hungry! Had my feet nibbled by fish in the spa - always wanted to try that - aside from that, it was just a hotel...nothing extraordinary...but the room was clean and comfortable.

Dear Katharine 1005,

Thank you for your resent stay and am glad you've enjoyed the spacious clean room and found the location is ideal to your needs.

The present restaurant is being tenanted out to a third party and opens later in the day. We hope you've had much more choices and explored many Asian foods.

Thanking you for choosing to stay at Piccolo Hotel and we look forward to welcoming you back.

While we loved the location of the Piccolo there was very little else to love.
No restaurant, so we were told to go to the Shisha bar down the street for breakfast, which was not very appertising. In fact there were no facilities apart from reception on the ground floor, everything that presumably used to be there is now shut with old furniture piled up and in the dark.
The staff were hard to communicate with. I had to ring reception 3 times and wait for over an hour to get more toilet paper sent to the room. We asked the concierge to book a dinner reservation at the KL Tower. Luckily we double checked as this had not been done.
Rooms were neat and tidy however I think this was the shortest and hardest bed I have ever slept on. Our room was facing the side street so was fairly quiet, however our friends room was extremely noisy and with building works going on outside made it hard to sleep.
If ever we return we will definately be looking for somewhere else to stay.

Dear Ms. Karen,

Thank you for staying with us recently and my sincere apologies with regards to the non confirmation on your dinner reservation request. I will ensure that this does not happen again. I understand that our Duty Manager have assisted you with all the necessary reservation the next day.
For your info, the present F&B outlets located at the front of the walkway is presently tenanted out to a third party, however, I will inform their Management on their tidiness of the area.
By year-end, we will have new F&B outlets and guests should be able to enjoy their breakfast in the hotel premise.

Your comments and suggestion raised are both extremely valuable and necessary in our efforts to improve our service standards and anticipating guests’ needs and expectation. We look forward to be of service to you again in the near future.

Stayed here twice in 2013 and once in 2014. We were lucky in the sense that we were upgraded to a larger room 2 out of 3 times. The room's design is pretty chic but takes a little bit of getting used to the wc, bath and wash basin's arrangement. you can sleep quite comfortably here. traffic sounds were not noticeable.

once the shower wasn't working properly, the ventilation fan wasn't functioning. supposedly out of rooms but somehow they managed to move us to another room. the staff were helpful.

parking is really cramped and severely limited. there are other parking levels accessible by a car lift but it's pretty pointless, i couldn't even get a 3 series into the lift because it was tiny.

have not tried the food. you've plenty of choices in the surrounding malls and streets so it's no big deal.

Dear Mr. Benjamin Lai,

Thank you for returning to stay with us recently and your comments & suggestion are both extremely valuable and necessary in our efforts to improve our service standards and anticipating guests’ needs and expectation.

FYI, we have 45 parking bays, and most big cars park only at our basement car park and, we do sometimes have many guests driving ‘big’ cars, hence, we may at times encounter limited parking bays in the basement, our apologies.

On behalf of the service team, may we take this opportunity to thank you again for choosing Piccolo Hotel, and we hope to be of service to you again in the near future.
Warm regards,
