From the minute we arrived at the restaurant everything was great. We were guided through the front door and entered a tasteful and ambient setting. We were taken to our table and unlike in many restaurants where you are immediately abuzz with waiters, we were allowed to settle.

Recommendations were made as to the food that were restaurant specialties and everything that we ordered was superb, authentic Indian cuisine. This was possibly the best Indian meal I have ever had outside of India.

Live music started while we were eating but it just added to the whole evening, it was not too loud that we could not continue our conversations. In fact we only realised it was live when one of our group went to the bathroom.

At the end of the meal they also helped order us a taxi for five people back to our hotel and let us stay at the table until it arrived.

The service and setting were wonderful. The northern Indian food was outstanding. If you like Indian cuisine you do not want to miss a visit to this restaurant.

We went on Monday night and were a little disturbed by how empty it was. We shouldn't have worried. The service was great, very attentive and very helpful. We ordered a broad variety of dishes, but the consensus favorite were the tiger prawns. The only negative was their attempt to up-sell us because they had a special on lamb chops. All of the other dishes were terrific though and the Kashmiri naan was my favorite. Lassis were also good. We only had one desert, khalfi, and it was a fitting end to the meal. I would definitely stop in here again

The popdums were broken into small pieces, why? Dont expect a good range of pickles. I had a chicken kurma which tasted odd, not at all like our normal kormas. My nan was very thin and brittle. My steamed rice was ok. Not my favourite meal in KL.

Dear MJW44,

Our sincere apologies for the unpleasant experience you had recently at our outlet.

Rest assured our korma base is made fresh daily and our suppliers are some of the most reputed in Kuala Lumpur, therefore quality is a top priority.

Thanks and regards,

Friendly welcome awaits, excellent (northern) Indian food, beautifully served, in an environment which recalls Indian arts and handicrafts, all accompanied with ethereal music provided by two musicians. This was our last evening in KL, and it provided a pleasant reminder that we should return soon. When we do we will also return here, our need for Indian food was satisfied, in pleasant surroundings.

The service is ok, the food is decent and prices could have been better. The preparation was ok, but not memorable, which sets apart a good restaurant from an average one
