I stayed in the single room with fan. It was a good price considering that the hotels in this area are 3 or 4 times more expensive, but not necessarily that much better.
There's free wifi and drinking water which is good. Plus it's a short walk to a lot of things you want to see. Restaurants are also close by. Also, you need your own towel for here, but linen is provided. Overall, 40 ringgit for a single private room is great value for the location.

We stayed here for one night that we had in Kuala Lumpur in Jan 2011. Whilst the actual rooms are nice and clean by Southeast Asian standards and in a good location, the staff let the place down. When we stayed here in 2009 there was a really nice guy working here who gave us tips about KL and free fruit etc and was just generally nice to talk to. In 2011, there was an older guy who served us who was rather quiet and unfriendly.

There was wifi but the advertised PC was not available as it was 'being put together''. Our room included Aircon but it was practically useless and didn't do anything. I will be trying a different place next time I'm in KL. A shame because this used to be a cheerful little place to stay.

We had a family holiday last year and we looking forward to clean modest accommodation.
The worst part of the trip was my sis in law getting eaten alive by bed bugs!!!!! We counted over 10 bites after the first night. We informed the staff of it and they promised to look after the matter, only for my sis to wake up the day after with even more bites!!

We were lucky that we came during daytime with a google map printout otherwise it would have been very hard to find.

Dim lighting in all rooms so no in room reading was possible without straining your eyes.

Definitely a NO from all of us

The location is pretty good if shopping is what you are looking for. Apart of the noise we don't have anything specific to complain about, it was pretty clean, but just the feel of the place was sooo depressing! After a long day of walking around, you want a warm welcoming place to come back to...for us, this wasn't it!
