Bad condition. No hot water for bath. Sometimes the water reservoir was turned off and there is no water to shower. When the water is back, the color was brown. Cockroaches on bed and floor. Floor so sticky and felt like its never been swept or cleaned.

This is by far one of the worst places I've stayed in. The hotel is right next to a lot of industrial fans that are running 24/7 and the sound of it keeps you up. The AC was old and malfunctioning. It either froze you to death or boiled the hell out of you. The room was dirty and the walls and the ceiling were leaking. I also got sand bug all over my back because of their dirty beds. The towels have nasty stains on them, and WORST OF ALL, this hotel sucks you dry for your last penny. They pre-charged me for 3 nights, promising that they would refund my money if I were to leave a night early. I happened to had to leave a night early and all they said was "We don't issue refunds". They lie to their teeth and are very dishonest about what they say. After all -- DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!!

I have reviewed more than a hundred hotels for this website and try to be balanced, often finding something positive to say about hotels other people did not enjoy. However, in this instance, I really have to advise people away from this garish, bizarre, unhygienic hotel.

The asking price for this hotel is around RM 140. We got it for RM 90 through an online booking site and still felt cheated. You would have to try really hard to find a worse hotel for RM 140 in Kuala Lumpur. Yes, it has a good location in a busy, lively part of the city, but the decor and rooms are quite simply horrid.

The corridor from reception to your room is so narrow that you feel as if the walls are squeezing in on you. Not even children could walk two abreast. Once you are inside your room, the feeling of claustrophobia gets even worse. Our room was tiled with black wall tiles that gave the whole room the feel of an ornate Middle Eastern tomb. The room is barely larger than the bed and two people are endlessly getting in each other's way. A bad situation is made worse by the curtains. They have actually used a white bedsheet to cover part of the windows (see the accompanying photos), as if proper curtains were just not worth the expense. And the bedcover was much too small for two people, so you either spend the night sweltering (if you turn the AC off) or freezing if you have it on.

The microscopic bathroom was even worse. There were two shower-heads in there, for some reason. The first one (unusable) stuck out at neck level from the wall, meaning that we had to duck under it to get to the toilet. If you didn't watch where you were going, you could easy walk straight into it, knocking yourself in the mouth or neck. Perhaps removing this booby trap from the bathroom was, like buying curtains, just too costly to consider.

Perhaps worse of all is the fact that the staff use the corridor as a dumping ground for dirty laundry. We came back to our room once to find garbage bags full of soiled sheets piled a metre high against our door. We had to move this aside to get into our room. The next morning, there was a lovely pile of dirty towels dumped outside our door (see the accompanying photo.) It would be impossible to recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances. If you can't do better than this place, stay at home.
