Lovely hotel hidden in the town 15minute walk to Petronas towers. Booked through mr&mrs smith, picked up at airport given ginger tea was very welcome. Shown to room, Luxe Crib large bed, balcony, bathroom with two large rain showers and a hot tub, and large dressing room, and my husbands favourite a fish tank separating bathroom and bedroom. cocktails in bar top of hotel only open at sunset wonderful views. Great pool with double sun beds. Friendly staff. Depended how busy some extras, we were lucky!

We stayed last weekend and it was by far, the best experience we have had thus far. Hamish, the manager was superbly friendly and helpful. The greens and the woods makes it that much comfortable and relaxing. Our room, was amazing, so spacious yet cozy! The fact that the pool compound is surrounded by trees, makes it that much relaxing. Not to mention, the food at Mandi-Mandi (breakfast by the pool!) and Tamarind Hill was so scrumptious. The free shuttle was great too, saves us the time of driving in and out. Overall, excellent! Fallen in love with the place and already planning my next stay there :)! Great work Hamish and team!

5 stars are simply not enough for this hotel/retreat. Everything is not just perfection, but above excellence.
Congratulations to Hamish and the team for providing such a unique and welcoming experience.
Every room is uniquely different so be sure to check on the website for what your room has.
The gardens, grounds and swimming pool are simply luxurious. The restaurant food has a good choice and what we picked was served with professionalism and tasted great as well.
The added welcome touch of complimentary cocktails in the rooftop bar is just superb.
Hamish (the hotel manager) is a real "people person" and it shows though with his attention to detail and therefore reflected thought to the staff.
I would thoroughly recommend this place. And we would for sure come here again.
Well done "Team Samadhi". :D

A fantastic hotel in a great location. All the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is a short walk to the city centre but provides a complete oasis to escape to. Our room was huge with two big rain showers and a plunge pool. Highly recommended.

Love the location, the spacious rooms and the customer service. This hotel is a gem tucked in behind the US Embassy and only a 10 Min cab ride to Bukit Bintang or KLCC. For those that stay a visit to the pool side restaurant is a must.

Having just arrived from it's sister hotel, Japamala on the island of Tioman, we were not surprised to received the same level of hospitable, courteous and friendly service and welcome in Villa Samadhi.

Villa Samadhi is a fabulous boutique hotel set in the embassy belt of KL. You feel you are in an oasis of tranquility, yet you can be in the heart of Chinatown, the Petronas Towers, shopping malls, street food stalls, all in a matter of minutes by taxi.

Hamish, the resort manager, gave us all of the help, guidance and assistance we could possibly need. Thanks very much Hamish.

We ate in two of the resorts sister restaurants, the Tamarind Springs up in the rain forest (only 15 minutes away by a courtesy hotel people carrier) which was wonderful, great food and service. Also, in the Tamarind Hills Restaurant in KL where the Thai food was absolutely wonderful. Delighted to receive complimentary cocktails just because the people carrier was 10 minute late collecting us - where else would you get that sort of hospitality.

The complimentary free daily cocktails in VS are a great way to start the evening (18.30 - 19.30), thanks john, great Mojito's and Martini's!

This is fabulous hotel to stay in, highly recommended, if you are visiting Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy!

had we stayed here first we would have rated excellent , the room was traditional styed but the furniture for the balcony and room was rather poor in comparison to the other hotels. the hot tub was great. the breakfast was of a high quality and good choice. it is located in a quiet part and the taxi drivers found it hard to find as there is no sign to indicate the name. the staff were very helpful, they also have 3 restaurants in the city, we went to 2 and would recommend both. we would like to thank Cherie for the breakfast pack for our early morning flight. had I booked a swim out room would give 5 stars.

Room Tip: book a swim outroom

Best described as Kuala Lumpur's ultimate treat to nest in. This ravishing villa-in-a-room boutique hotel is one-of-a-kind in the capital city. Tucked within an upscale locale just 10 minutes drive from town, Villa Samadhi becomes an immediately accessible respite to restore soul into one’s exhausted self. Its collection of 21 contemporary Asian-inspired rooms, with each spanning from 600 square-foot to over 2000 square-feet of living spaces are accented with a collage of elements to create a raw yet sophisticated Asian dwelling. Discreetly recede from street view, the most distinguishing feature of Villa Samadhi is the massive, soaring grass thatched-roof that shouts 'Malaysia'. But most eye-catching is the mysterious-looking multi-layered thatched roof structure of the rooftop bar-lounge ‘Bumbung’ which is floating above all else.
