Very good value for money. Staff always available and friendly. The rooms are huge and clean, but keep in mind that it's a backpacker hostel so you will share with many other. Besides that it was a nice experience. Nice common area where you can meet other travellers. Good position, close to market and LRT

Fernloft is a nice place, centrally located. In the neighbourhood are plenty of cheap local food options, including several delicious Indian restaurants.
The hostel has a rooftop and tv corner. Some staff is very friendly, some not. The big dormitory isn't very nice. Uncomfortable pillows and matrasses. No personal reading lights, so the bright light on the ceiling can be very annoying when you're trying to sleep early, people come and go. Still, for just 1 or 2 nights it's not too bad. It doesn't include a real breakfast, but just bread and jam plus coffee/tea. But it's complementary, so good value overall. For double the price of a dorm at Fernloft, you can have a much nicer hostel, but it depends on your budget. My budget was really small, so for 2 nights I was happy.

Very frequently I have been travelling to Malaysia.. Choosing a Hotel In Ku to stay l is little expensive. I always prefer to stay in Fernloft, China Town, Kuala lumpur because, It is very good in all respects.. formidable tariff, centrally Catalogued, Close to MRT,lot of malls around, South Indian Hotels, Good security, Excellent and helpful receptionist, Rooms are clean, 24 hrs internet and Wi-Fi, Air conditioned Rooms, easy check in- check out, No restrictions to keep luggage in lounge.

Room tip: Four Bed Room is Very Good . For students and others 20 bed is gud
