Very grand and in a very quiet and serene part of the city . We did not get a chance to go in as you require special passes to do that , that is what we were to understand . But it was nice photo op with the gaurds at the gate .

It was an interview for an event & I must say the organiser is kind enough to treat all of the candidates a lunch in the VIP restaurant with scenic view.
The waitress 're kind & friendly~~

Six of us came for late dinner on Friday night. We ordered peking duck, san choy bao, roast pork and japanese tofu. I have been here a few years ago with different group of people and recalled the food was better back then hence we returned.

The duck was so so, the only dish that we enjoyed was roast pork. Price wise it was expensive for KL standard as they added extra charges for items eg. tissues, crackers, peanuts, etc to our bill.

We got tired of the casual dining and hawker food, so craved for a more "civilised" dining experience.

Grand palace fit the bill perfectly. Nicely decorated inside, it is even used for wedding dinners. Service was very good, and this is a place to bring family, relatives, or even business associates if you want to treat a nice Chinese dinner.

Char siu was amazing, probably one of the best I've ever eaten. Steamed fish was done expertly, as well as Hakka tofu. Pricing is reasonable, in line with what I expect to pay for this level of quality and service.
