Le Apple Boutique Hotel
Ranked #20 of 353 Kuala Lumpur B&B and Inns
Reviewed 18 May 2012

We stayed at Le Apple for 6 nights and found it to be exactly what we wanted. The room was small but very new, modern and clean and the staff were very helpful in answering our questions and providing advice. The room was affordable, the bed exceptionally comfortable and the location in the middle of Bukit Bintang was just perfect. The demolition work going on next door was unfortunate but we managed and it's not really Le Apple's fault. If you want all the perks, Le Apple might not have everything you are after - I'm used to having a small fridge in the room for example - but it had everything we needed and I'd highly recommend it.

This hotel has so much potential. Its clean, new, in a fantastic location and generally great! At the moment though there is some demolition happening next door. We had a 4 storey metal shoot outside our room that throws concrete and other debris down to the dumpster at the bottom - 24/7!! Without this, the hotel would be fantastic and I would stay there again and again.
My only other qualm would be that you can not make international calls from the rooms or reception. There is also a button that needs to be turned on to activate the hot water. We were not told this and spent the first morning having cold showers, only upon asking reception were we advised about the button. If there was a hotel guide in the room this may solve the problem.
Otherwise, everything was great!

Almost a perfect hotel to stay in KL. Things to improve: Coffee/tea maker provided but no water kettle. Need to go to the common corridor to take hot/cold water. Not much good cable channels on TV and reception is bad for most fee too air channels. No shaver provided. AC is hidden, so no direct air to you, some will like it but not me. Best things about this hotel is there is a security personnel at the main doors. So it is quite safe as the hotel is situated at an alley. Bottled water are given each day. Great!

Room Tip: For less noisy rooms, get the higher floor and not in front of the main door that facing the restaur...

I loved the look of this hotel when I first entered through the doors, very modern and chic. Location is great if you're a shopper, just around the corner from big malls like Pavilion. All the staff (doorman, reception, housekeeping) were friendly and helpful. The rooms are small - I was in the Deluxe Zen Double, the Deluxe Zen Single would have been way too small for me in hindsight but that's personal preference. The only downside I can think of is the layout of the bathroom - the toilet, shower and sink are not divided so if you take a shower the toilet tends to get sprayed! Also there isn't much privacy between the bedroom and the bathroom so if you're staying with someone then you better be comfortable with each other : ) The shower itself was excellent, powerful jets and adjustable head. Everything was nice and clean too! I was on the second floor and there was a bit of noise at night coming from the opposite side of the road where there is a late night restaurant, but it was barely audible so didn't bother me at all. Also the Wi-Fi was very fast. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: Higher the floor = less noise at night!

The only down side is that the aircon at grand milleniumm hotel is facing le apple so was super noisy 24hrs x 7 days

Very clean nicely presented and not overly priced hotel right in the middle of the shopping and food action. If you intend to do a lot of both in KL this location makes everything so easy. I stayed on the 5th floor, noise wasn't too bad and the rooms are nicely furnished if a little small. Free inroom Wi-Fi and a universal power socket. I would definitely stay here again next time I go to KL.

Room Tip: The higher up you stay = the less chance you have of being disturbed in your room by the night club...

It is a great location for shopping at Bukit Bintang area, very near to Pavilion and Lot 10. Their single room is a bit small but still acceptable(enough space for me, I'm 5'10 and 120KG), clean, free WiFi, bed is comfortable.

Stayed there for 2 nights in different room. 1st night was ok, stayed at 5th floor and facing away from the hotel entrance, quiet and slept well that night. But 2nd night was a nightmare, stayed at 1st floor, facing the hotel entrance, can't sleep at all, the loud sound and music from the nearby restaurant/pub continue even after 3am!!!

A nice hotel to stay but just avoid staying lower floor or room facing the main entrance.

Room Tip: avoid staying lower floor or room facing the main entrance
