The Prince Hotel is a typical 4 star hotel. Its pluses include its location, reliability of what you are going to get in a room - but I'm staring to find these huge hotels just a bit too impersonal. Vast numbers of people are in the lobby, an always overcrowded breakfast room.

You can't lose with the hotel or its location but I prefer something a bit smaller with more personality

Stayed here for 3 nights in an executive club room. Breakfast is included in the rate and is served in the club lounge. Breakfast is chosen from a menu and order your eggs how you like them . Cocktails, wine and beer is served for club room guests every day between 6pm and 8pm. Free use of the non alcoholic components of the mini bar. The hotel also launders 3 garments per day for you.
The room was large and the bathroom was also spacious with more than the usual amenities provided. All nicely presented.
Pc,s are available in the club lounge for free internet access. Wired internet access is available in the room.
The prince is located opposite the pavillion shopping mall. Bukit bintang train station is also located opposite. Petronas towers is a 15 min walk. We paid about 10 ringitts for a taxi to the towers.
Various bars are located at the pavillion. Pints of carlsberg are 30 ringitts.
So many good things to say about the prince. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this place to my friends

Was at Kuala Lumpur to address in a Summit… hence stayed in this hotel and this was the venue. The check-in process was quite smooth and found that the staff were really friendly. Though I had reached early at 9AM.. they had kept my room ready and I did not have to wait. This is quite unlike many other hotels wherein they keep you waiting till the check-in time of 12 noon.

I had breakfast on both the days at their coffee shop called Eccucino in Level 1. This all-day-dining venue turns into a fish market during breakfast. It’s brimming with guests but very few hotel staff to take care of them. There were number of instances when you felt like being a castaway – about whom nobody was bothered. I asked for a glass water at room temperature from one staff by the name Saleh.. But it never turned up. I would recommend you to avoid this place if your looking for a positive dining experience

I had the opportunity to interact with hotel staff by the names Zati, Anita, Anna over phone …. They were all quite responsive and fast.
Anita and Anna (front office) were quite sloppy… I had asked for an internet cable… I waited for almost 30 mins and reminded twice but in vain. The internet cable never reached my room. Clearly Anita and Anna need to work on their customer.I had to finally speak to housekeeping for the same..

While going out in the evening I had pressed the “cleaning buzzer” assuming that the room would get clened by the time I am back in 2 hours. However, nothing was done.. I had to call up one lady by the name Mitzy in Houekeeping to get the clean-up.
If you looking for great service this is not the best place. However, if you are patient and ready to give reminders work does get done. My belief is that in the tariff range that Prince provides there are many other international hotels which you may like to try..
However, Prince Hotel gets great marks in location. It is ideally located near a skyway that connects both Bintun Bitang (the famous Pavilioin Mall) and the Petronas Tower..

I have stayed at the Prince on many occasions in the Hotel and the Residence section.

The staff are great, the rooms in the Residence (single bedroom) can be a bit dark and gloomy with some rooms that have a bedroom without a window..... Just make sure you are very specific of the type of room you want.

The Hotel rooms are great, nice and modern, lot's of light and clean. The only issue I had was with the keycard failing several times. They ended up replacing the entire lock - done very promptly with no fuss.

Note there is construction happening on both sides of the hotel, make sure you get a high floor.
Note I didn't really hear any noise being on the 24th floor.

Very convenient to the shopping and food outlets.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor room facing the Pavillion. If your going into the Residence as for a room wher...

Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Great location. Felt like royalty, no problems whatsoever. Staff amazing, highly recommend private tour to the fireflies, includes dinner, caves, monkeys. Cheap and great time.
The restaurant accross the road has traditional Malaysian dance and buffet dinner. Food was exotic and fantastic also. Highly recommend staying here to visit the city. Major bonus is the massive shopping mall accross the street with fantastic 'food republic'.
