Upon arrival we were met with hostility as we booked through hotelclub and the hotel room we booked was 'subject to availability' despite the fact wed paid in full in advance. We didnt seem very welcomed and were forced into a smoking room. There was a patch on the carpet in the middle of the room that was damp and patchy for four consecutive days and there was no internet usage or wifi. In order to print we had to essentially pay $5 per page. To print out 7 pages it essentially costed us $35. Not impressed at all.

A very well run, comfortable hotel, good value but a bit dated and in need of some 'TLC'. The rooms are a bit tired but comfortable, excellent breakfast and the pool area is nice. Service is excellent. If I returned to KL would stay again.

Me and my husband has previously stayed at this hotel and found few faults with it last time. However we decided to stay here again due to the good location.

Check in

Good. Met by friendly member of staff who let me view the rooms before choosing which I thought was good customer service.

The room
The bathroom was a nightmare placed just few inches away from the bed and the toilet made noises all through the night. Once we came back to the hotel to find the toilet had flooded the bathroom and we had to ring maintenance. Sheets weren't changed everyday and me and my husband got itchy flea bites from the sheets (have added pics as evidence). Room service was good.

Swimming pool area good too plenty of towels.

Downstairs cafe staff were so rude, me and my husband wanted a drink, they ignored us and they weren't even doing anything so we walked away

However the above points aren't as bad as the other things we encountered-prostitutes hanging outside the hotel looking for business. We view this as a five star hotel and they should be doing something about this. I have noted a previous review mentions the same thing so looks as tho the hotel clearly isn't bothered.

Secondly do not take hotel taxi!! Pure rip off!! They are charging triple the actual rate!!

I will not be staying here on a next visit to kuala lumpur but shall be going to westin or Marriott next time. The rooms are severely outdated and are not value at all. Rooms are at 3* standard.

This hotel is well located in the middle of Bukit Bintang Walkway & good for 1st time traveller to KL City. Facing the front of hotel is Farenheit 88 Shopping Mall, to the left is the great Pavillion Mall & to the right is all the Middle Eastern restaurants! Being a local, I enjoy the night life here & the hotel is just the great place surrounded by all the great things! The Coffee House has good choice of foods but seem crowded on Sunday morning. At Pavillion Mall during Saturday night, you can see all the dream cars parked by the filty rich guys! Never miss this hotel if planning to stay in KL.

Stayed for 2 nights recently. Chose it purely with shopping intention in my mind. Only walking distance to all the shopping complexes which Kuala Lumpur is famous for. Next to the hotel is Pavillion. Must try the food court here on lower ground floor.
This is truly Asian food paradise. Maybe about 90% Asian and 10% International. Didn't take the breakfast buffet since I know food vendors are merely a step away and it's 24/7. Manage to get premier floor even though booking normal room.
