Our stay was 9/10/13 to 15/10/13 in an exec. club room on the 17th floor. We were return guests having previously stayed in Deluxe rooms. We returned to this hotel because of the excellant location as most reviewers state, but more importantly because of the brilliant staff they have. We found the housekeeping staff never missed a thing in our room the 6 days we stayed. Which is often not the case in a lot of hotels we have stayed in, and the laundry staff who looked after us every day could not have been more efficient.

Although we did eat and drink in the club lounge some days, which was great. We found we preferred to eat and drink in the Bistro on the ground floor, purely because of the warm friendly and efficient service from the wonderful guys and girls namely Ina, Zana, Harris and Hannil.

We had a great wellcome by the guys on the door also, who couldn't have been more helpfull. Zul as always together with Amin, Timo and Azhari.

We will be returning to stay in 2014 and it is because of the GM staff who made us feel so wellcome.

I have stayed here on various occasions over the last few years and must stay this last stay was most disappoint.

Upon check-in, the staff was unfamiliar with the procedure and had to keep checking with the senior. I am ok with that, except when he told me my room was not available. Upon insisting as it was already past 1pm, he fumbled and told me immediately there was a room available.

On check in, the toilet flush and telephone wasn't functioning. These are basics.

On the second day, my access card suddenly stopped working and I had to reactivate all the cards again, causing annoyance and inconvenience.

I stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms dated but clean. Service generally ok . Major noise issue as there is a building site next door which operates 24 hours so I have hardly slept. No apologies from mgt. Wont be back.

Check-in was easy though there were small hiccups in the process. Everything went on smoothly and the stay was comfortable. My little son loves to sit by the long window and hid himself there. Pavillion mall is just next door which is convenient. Just didn't like the walkway next to the hotel where lots of peddlers selling fake watches which made me uncomfortable.

Stayed here from 17-20 NOV 2013. Hotel is dated but still much acceptable. Great location, very nice n spacious room and apart from the initial check-in, (guess all their staff were busy n we had to wait for more than 10 mins to have someone attend to us. Not to mention, when a staff was available, he went to attend to another couple which just walked up the short steps to the Reception Area. I really think the "sit down n wait" area causes much confusion) everything else was alright n everyone else were nice n friendly......

Stayed on the 15 floor and view (was supposed to be great) save that there were much constructions around. (see pics)

Location wise, perfect for us. Directly facing the rather newly opened Fahrenheit Shopping Ctr (much of the space n shops not open as yet), next door to the newly renovated Pavillion (great Christmas Decor n dinning) and just as walkable to near by Lot 10, Sugei Wang Plaza, Bejaya Times SQ n KLCC etc etc.......

Mono rail is easily available (as during peak hours, most taxis wud not wanna take you back to your hotel as the area will be very jammed packed ! To make traffic conditions worse, lots of construction around too... (at time of stay) Having said that, try to avoid taxi trouts as well as those BLUE taxis, very expensive, almost double (or more) the price !

For those taking a short trip to KL, stay at The Grand Millennium ! So many pros n only that 1 or 2 cons.......
There daily free wifi in your room ! Signal is strong n very usable ! Shopping n dinning all around and security is great.

Those who have small kids n a day or two to spare whilst in KL, do consider bringing them to Kidzania, somewhere at the Damansara area, 45mins (inclding traffic jams) from Bukit Bintang Area..... Lovely place to get the kids to learn about life n job professions.... however, you MUST plan in advance n check the available dates n BOOK ONLINE ! So much easier that walk in n queue for so long ! ha ha

As usual.... just sharing....cheers !

Room Tip: Sorry hotel, but I would really suggest guest not to have their breakfast in-house but rather to go...

have returned to this hotel for numerous time whenever we have a stop over at kl. its centrally located location next to pavilion, starhill, lot 10 and even the famour alor street is just a stone throw by walking distance. the service is superb. despite the check in may not be as speedy when its crowded during check in hour. however, be rest assured the lobby has succinct seats for your rest. the maintenance crew work their best to attend to your malfunction items which we encountered the hair dryer not function appropriately.
nothing much to complain about at this price.
