Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur
Ranked #48 of 349 Hotels in Kuala Lumpur

We stayed at the Grand Millenium by default as we had to change our booking and could not stay at our original first choice. We were not disappointed.
The hotel has one of the best locations in KL, within a 15 min walking distance of most of the major attractions. It is near to some great shops and restaurants, near the mono rail.
The room was large with all the mod cons, although we overlooked the back of other hotels which was not the best view of the town.
The breakfast was amazing with a complete choice of breakfast from all nationalities, from fried egg to croissants to curry!!
The pool was also fab, with a lovely sunbathing area, overlooking other hotels.
We had such a good time we only found the fantastic spa in the hotel on the last day!
We also found that we got a really good deal through trip advisor.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and there seemed to be almost more of them than clients.

We will definately stay here again.

This hotel has a good location and great for any shoppers with numerous malls surrounding the hotel.

The main public areas have been updated and are very nice, the rooms need to follow suit, they look a little worn.

THe bar is good and it has a night club that is upmarket.

Food is O.K but only had breakfast in the hotel

Stayed in the Grand Millennium for 3 nights at the end of our honeymoon. Extremely impressed with location, cleanliness, facilities and room size. Impressed from the start, staff at the entrance to open doors and carry bags, with a smile on their face. Reception staff not as friendly but efficient. Room was huge, comforatble and had everything you would need. Maid service was very good too.

The location was perfect, we browsed around the malls. We did the typical touristy thing of going on the KL Hop on hop off, which was fantastic, got to see the KL tower, Petronas towers, bird sanctuary, buttefly farm (bus stop right outside the hotel).

One negative - I love a great view and although it was a good view it wasn't amazing, we were overlooking the frontof the hotel and the Planet Hollywood restaurant. Would've been nice to have a view ou the back maybe?
(Husband played an amazing game of indoor golf at one of the malls)

We stayed 3 weeks in Asia and this was my favorite hotel. Check in was most impressive, you are able to sit down in a comfortable chair while the staff attend to your check-in which is swift and hassle-free. The lobby is an atrium which impresses the visitor with a massive flower display, a beautiful water feature and shiny marble floors intermingled with plush carpet, sofa's and a grand piano.
Our room was very tasteful in a restful mint green tone, elegant but homely and comfortable. The view to the street was interesting and quite beautiful both day and night. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained and staff very helpful. We swam in the pool every morning and we were the only ones there! It is a really gorgeous pool area, massive palms and trees, as well as delicate orchids adorned the pool surround - fresh fluffy towels on hand, smiling staff and everything pristine. It is also a great location for shopping and the cinema as well as the monorail. I highly recommend this hotel!

Got a good deal from Expedia that included 2 breakfasts & free internet.

The hotel building is actually a bit run-down; & I think the design of the lobby has been identical since the days when the Hotel was then known as The Regent (about 15 or more years back?) But I like the reception area: it's innovative and provided with me a very cosy, relaxed feeling.

Overall impression of the lobby and lift area was not good, as the design and color made it looked very outdated, dull, and old.

Room is clean, but again, bathroom looked worn down. 1 plus factor: the room has a DVD player! So we bought quite a few cheap but authentic DVDs from nearby Speedy to watch every night! Ha! Internet connection works fine, room has got a great view of the Pavilion ... Everyday, housekeeping dutifully cleans the room and replenish out of stock items ... So we're happy!

Breakfast at the Mill was satisfying. Sufficient choices being offered, though personally, I thought the Japanese breakfast section was pathetic. Great choice of breads; they even have freshly made waffles with different choices of toppings! In short, there's enough variety of food to make you full. Service wise, I think the staffs were all doing their best to accommodate to the diners. Some staffs tried initiating small talks with the diners (including me), and I think that's really great!

Would I stay here again? Yes I will, for its great location, nice service and clean and comfortable room!

The hotel is greatly located in walking distances to the main KL shopping malls.
The breakfast buffet was very good but there were not enough seats/tables; we had to watch and go in shifts to pick up food as to be sure our table was not occupied meantime.
We had a bad experience when cheching out: we were promised that we can check out at 2:00 PM with no extra charge; at 12:00 we were told imperatively to check out at 1:00 PM,the latest, otherwise we would be extracharged; they did not care what they promised;
We stayed previously in Novotel ( close-by ) and the staff there seemed to be more professional, while the room rate was lower; over there we could check in at 8:00 am and checked out at 3:00 pm with no extra charge.

The Grand Millenium Hotel in KL is located in an area called the Golden Triangle, not for nothing. It is surrounded by malls and is in the city's hub. All of these malls and Plaza's are within walking distance. The High Street is on your doorstep. The Petronas towers is a 10-15minute walk away. Taxi's are readily available to take you anywhere else.

The Place itself is uber modern, with great spacious rooms and bathrooms. The staff are professional, yet friendly. You won't be short of anything here, and whatever you don't find will be arranged for you!

Great facilities, great location!
