The hotel is in a very convenient location as it is directly opposite KL Sentral which is the major transport centre in KL for trains and all forms of airport transfers...we used the excellent fast train service from the airport and the shuttle bus to the airport. The hotel is very comfortable with a beautiful interior and a super outdoor swimming pool with lovely views of the park areas......KL is a very green city. The bedroom was extremely comfortable and had a great view of KL. The restaurant is quite stunning with an equally stunning buffet breakfast . The service is excellent. We had an overnight stay and would have liked to have stayed longer .Highly reommended.

Dear CheshireDesire: It’s great to read that you enjoyed your stay at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur – thanks for choosing to stay with us. You’re right; the KLIA Express train is the fastest way between the airport and the city in just 28 minutes and is also great value at RM35/way (approx: US$10). We’re glad that you were able to experience our Jean George breakfast at Latest Recipe too. We look forward to welcoming you back to Le Meridien.

We stayed for one night in transit, the room was modern but smaller than other hotels. It was conveniently located right next to KLIA express station, a short ride to the airport. The monorail central station is also right next door.

You’re right, our location at KL Sentral is ideal for getting to/from the airport via the KLIA Express Train in just 28 minutes for RM35/way (great value) and then for moving around Kuala Lumpur with direct access to the LRT train to KLCC and the monorail to Bukit Bintang. Rooms may be a bit small, but they are clean and the beds are really good. Bathrooms are more spacious, but the shower-curtains was a bit old and smelly. Otherwise room and bathroom was clean.

Breakfast is a bit expensive but a treat, since they serve food from all the world. Everything from toast and butter to sushi and curry.

They have a lot of facilities like a gym, different gym-classes, spa and of course a good bar. Swimming Pool is big and quit clean.

Internet-access is free if you bring your own PC, but its quit expensive to use Internet if you have to use PC in the Business Center.

The location is really good since its just next door to the sentral station so you have easy access to whole KL.

Thanks for sharing your Le Meridien experience. It’s great to read that your stay was enjoyable. We have noted your comments on the shower-curtain (whilst we don’t know your room number, we will double-check this area in general). We’re glad you enjoyed our breakfast in Latest Recipe where we serve illy coffee and Jean Georges (3-star Michelin Chef) inspired menu items. Our swimming pool is KL’s longest free-form pool and a great area to be able to ‘escape’ from the hustle + bustle of the city below. Our location at KL Sentral gives you direct access to the KLIA Express train, the fastest way between the airport and city in just 28 minutes. We look forward to welcoming you back to Le Meridien when you are next coming to Kuala Lumpur.

We had three nights in a Royal Club Suite and loved it. Huge bathroom plus separate powder room. Large TV plus another in the bedroom. Everything was so comfortable and the view was breathtaking. The pool is huge and we finished each afternoon in it. Breakfast has to be seen to be believed. There is a station for almost every culture and a lot of the food is cooked fresh for you.

The club lounge is fantastic and worth the extra. Nibbles were mini culinary delights and drinks were of a good quality. Everything was continuously replinished over the two hours.
The position might not be the best if you need to be in the centre of the city but was great for us as we had an early plane flight and being next to the Express to the airport was perfect. The monorail was close by for travelling further afield. We also got the hop on hop off bus which had a stop just outside.

Thanks for taking the time to share your Le Meridien experience, it’s great to read that you had such a great stay. We are in the process of changing all our existing TV’s to LCD TV’s; all suites, Le Royal Club rooms and Premier rooms are now complete and we are in the final stage of completing our Deluxe rooms now (50% complete). We’re glad that you also got to sample our breakfast at Latest Recipe with Le Meridien’s signature dishes & LM Eye Openers created exclusively by Jean Georges (3-star Michelin chef). Our Le Royal Club (located on Level 33) provides great value with the inclusion of breakfast, evening canapés + drinks and internet access for a small additional fee. Again, thanks for choosing Le Meridien. We look forward to welcoming you back in the not too distant future and hope that you registered for our current SPG promotion “More Nights = More Rewards”.

On the way back to Singapore, we decided to stay overnight in KL. I chose Le Meridien KL because it is right next to KL Sentral and comparatively cheaper than its neighbour Hilton. I am delighted to find out that the overall quality is not comprised. As a SPG member, I got a 24th floor deluxe room with a garden view. The cleanliness and elegance of the hotel room, the premium coffee (its aroma!) from the coffee bar and we love the panoramic lake garden view most. Not to mention the gorgeous swimming pool. I swim early in the morning, less crowded and enjoyed the serenity of the pool and even tried out the fun water slide which is a fantastic idea. The breakfast is of good standard and could we say, we are lucky to enjoy a michelin star chef buffet breakfast and it is all within the bed & breakfast pkg. Le Meridien KL is located away from the shopping belt golden triangle or bustling KLCC, however if you prefer quietness and shopping is not on high priority, and also no opening of curtain and seeing another tower within proximity, this is a pretty good choice.

I trust that you have registered for our current SPG promotion: More Nights = More Rewards – a great way to earn up to 4x the normal Starpoints.
