Stayed here on a business trip to KL a few months ago. The service and food at the hotel were excellent (I still dream of the breakfast buffet). Rooms are a bit disappointing - faded/worn out carpets, a safe with a hanging hinge - some minor things which tend to pull the quality down a bit.
Is it worth staying at though? Absolutely. If you can look beyond the "infrastructure" issues, it's a great place to stay for the food and location, if nothing else.
