“Hotel for good Breakfast”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2014

The hotel is located at the heart of KL and is opposite to the Parvillion Shopping Ctr. 5minutes walk to the skytrain which can take you around the city area. The facilities is good, the breakfast is excellent which serve good varities of local and western breakfast... lots of choice.
The services is good too and friendly and willing to make good suggestion for your local walking tour to shopping and food.
However the hotel is always busy and full. also the room rate is on the high side with similar services in KL.

Room Tip: Book in advance and choice higher floor for better city view. Book with breakfast is recommended.

With glamorous neighbours like bvlgari and Gucci , Cartier and Tiffany , you step out of the hotel and know immediately you are in the centre of a shoppers haven. The Westin Kuala Lumpurs main attraction is its location , with the Pavillion mall directly across the road , starhill gallery next door and Lot 10 a 5 min walk away. Besides the shopping , the tourist attractions are all within easy access. The rooms at the Westin are contemporary and not fussy, with all the comforts you need, the Westin 'heavenly' bed never disappoints. My son did visit the kids club and the wonderful lady there was kind and chatty. I wanted a club room but none were available at the time (due to a conference being held at the hotel) but the room I got was a good size and had nice views.
The breakfast has options to suit any palate , and with an in house bakery , grill section , flavours from the east and west , it is one of the largest selections I've seen at a hotel . Even though the hotel was very busy , there was always room at breakfast and service was good there. I didn't have any other meals at the hotel , with so many options across the road, but I did have coffee twice at the deli/bakery in the afternoon and that was satisfactory, I think the coffee shops in the malls are as good / better.
There is no spa in the hotel , but there is a spa menu for in-room treatments.
I do think the hotel has more of a business atmosphere to it (like all Westins I've stayed in )'but there are facilities for kids and we were happy with our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

We have been coming to Westin KL for the last 6 years during the same time each year. We have stayed in the executive rooms, the executive suite and this year on the residential floor. The service has always been excellent. All the executive club lounge staff, in particular Mr Said (3rd time around) and breakfast staff including Manager Mr Fazli have made us feel very welcome during our stay. We use 2 rooms and normally stay a week. We have not once been disappointed. The club lounge food, evening cocktails and service are superb and in offer all day round. The buffet breakfast variety of Malay, Chinese, Indian and Western food, BBQ and individualised deli room is the best of any Westin we have stayed at in Asia (high praise considering we are experienced Asia travellers). A major attraction of this hotel is also it's location opposite the Pavilion, our shopping Mecca of KL. We love it and have always made Westin KL our last destination before heading home. We would
recommend Westin KL to anybody wanting to experience 5 star luxury with 5 star service.

We stayed here for one night (5 hours to be precise) passing through on the way to the north eastern Malaysia

The service at the frontdesk was very helpfull, and was happy to help in any way. We had an accident loosing a phone on the way, and they tried the best to contact the taxi service on our behalf

The room was very luxurious and well situated in mid-town, with nice shopping apparently just on the other side of the street

Room Tip: Get a room on the higher floors to get the best view of the city

A great hotel with amazing service, right in the heart of the shopping district.
We have stayed here before and was not disappointed as is often the case.
The restaurants are very good with excellent food, wines and service, Prego in particular.

Room Tip: I would advise the Executive Club Room which is very well priced and well appointed.

Thanks to Mandy for the great reception and the care to insure a wonderful stay.
This is a very nice property in the middle of plenty of action. Nice shopping mall across the street.
The Executive lounge is very well done, services in lounge and relaxing atmosphere is great.
Concierge very helpful as well. Close to most shopping and public transportation.

Room Tip: High floor..city view

located reight within the shopping area in KL. Just across the Pavilion and right next to Starhill. Stayed in the residence floor for almost a week. The condition of rooms were generally good but renovations would help. Staff in the executive club was quite attentive especially the Chinese intern

We thank you for staying with us recently and taking the time to share your experience.

Delighted to hear the team from Executive Lounge provided personal, instinctive and renewing experiences.

Inspite of our constant efforts to maintain the building, the hotel is indeed getting old. We do have plans to renovate but unfortunately, we are unable to communicate an exact date now.

Once again, we truly appreciate your feedbacks and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Take care and be well
