“Handy to Monorail & KLCC. Great Value”
Reviewed 10 December 2012

I spent 6 nights here my wife & 12 yr old daughter enough room for the 3 of us, comfortable bed could do with more choice of pillows but we did not ask. bathroom was ample for 3 people, room was cleaned daily and well air conditioned. All the staff we had dealings with where helpful and very attentive. Breakfast had plenty of choices with some items cooked to order. Restuarants and shopping are close by,we found the monorail made it easy to get around it was about 250 metres away and covered by a walkway so if it rained we hoped on the monorail and went to a shopping centre to eat and stay dry. We had only one problem we booked through AsiaRooms.com the hotel did not have the extra bed ready and were going to gharge us more for another room and breakfast for my daughter, but they did not instead the upgrade our room and gave my daughter free breakfast daily. I am waiting for a reply from AsiaRooms.com as to there explanation. will return to this hotel one day.

It's almost a 10 minute walk to Petronas towers. Also next to monorail station and near subway station. Many interesting places are in reach like Bukit Bintang shopping area, KL central market and the lake garden. The staff are very polite and friendly and the rooms are clean. Just keep in mind that if you are travelling utilizing tour services from Iran, the wifi may not be included in your package and you may need to pay extra or negotiate with your tour provider beforehand.

I spent 3 weeks staying at this hotel on business (teaching short course using a function room inside the hotel). The staff are friendly and welcoming. My "Premier" wing room was large with a very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and good walk in wardrobe/dressing room area. The deal included a couple of complimentary massages which were much appreciated! I am vegetarian so my selection at meals was limited, but there was a good variety of food and it was all well labelled and tasty. Very handy to KLCC. The rooms are perhaps a little dated but still very comfortable in my opinion.

Room Tip: Pay the extra to get a "Premier" room. Mine included massages plus laundry.

We booked 3 nights becasue of the location and the reviews on TA. The room was decently clean, but furniture needs a renovation soon. Breakfast was OK with various choices. The best thing was the location, near to Monorail and MRT stations and also to Petronas etc...

There are lot many big hotels in and around the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. But Concorde offers great value for money, as compared to other international chain hotels. While I would have ideally desired a better room service dining menu, overall a nice hotel with pretty much all the facilities that a guest can expect. Very responsive staff.

Room Tip: Insist on a room that overlooks the swimming pool. That way you will get a view of the Petronas Towe...

Apart from KL city being so far away from the airport, the hotel was great . The comparison between it and some 3 star places I've stayed is huge. The Concorde was immaculate, the staff extremely helpful in every way, and its really close to the monorail. There's a bus service outside the front entrance'. The rooms were quite spacious with a beautiful bathroom. Buffet breakfast in a hotel is pretty basic and often not great. The Concorde's was excellent. most of the food was good quality and a vast selection. Again the staff were great. We had a room 4017 I think, with a view of the tower which was beautiful at night.

Room Tip: Request a room with a view of the Petronas Towers

On 23th April 2012 my family and I travelled to Kualalumpur, Malaysia. We stayed in Concord hotel for 6 nights. We had reserved 2 rooms via an agency in Iran. 2 superior double rooms plus an extra bed! I reviewed the hotel’s webpage for more facilities and specially I checked the check in and check out time.
Check in was at 14:00 and check out was at 12:00. We arrived at 13:45.
The receptions were polite and nice (except one of them! I name her Ms. S). Ms. S asked us to wait an hour to make our room ready! After an eight- hour fly it was the worst thing I had ever heard! Therefore I refused and reminded her official check in time. She insisted that I am wrong and check in time is 15:00.
We were discussing about the time when a guy (I don’t know his name) who was her boss came and apologized me, owing to delay. Then, the time was 14:45!
The rooms were suitable for 2 adults. There was not enough space for extra bed! It was acceptably clean. The room service was good. The breakfast was nice! A combination of Chinese and American breakfast! There was something to eat for every one!
Concord hotel is in J. Sultan Ismail Street. It is just in 2 min. walking distance from Bukit nanas monorail station and 5 min. walk to Dang wangi subway (Putra line) station.
It took us about 10 min. walk to get to PETRONAS towers and SURIA KLCC shopping center, about 15 min walk to Aquarium, 30 min. walk to Bukit Bintang Street. I loved the Hotel location. Staying near the Towers was great especially when I had to queue to get PETRONAS visiting tickets at 7:00 A.m.!!!!
In Conclusion, the hotel was great except first day controversy!
