This a decent hotel without being anything special. The room I stayed in was a standard one, clean and functional. All mod cons present. The room service menu was ok but very limited for veggies. That said, I had the same veggie option several times - I stayed for 5 days - because it tasted SO good.

A short walk from KLCC but beware you will have to walk past what I discovered was quite a happening bar for ladies (and lady-boys) of the night. Nonetheless, I'd stay here again because overall it's good value.

My partner & I stayed at the Concorde for two weeks and spent New Year there. The hotel is extremely well priced, clean and in a great location. The rooms are not luxurious but very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very nice. The staff at the Concorde are friendly and extremely helpful, this impressed us very much. There is a lovely pool & gym area. We got a great view of Petronos Towers fireworks at New Year. The breakfast is fantastic and caters for all cuisines. The freshly made omlettes & pancakes were popular though. The staff at the Concorde were extremely welcoming and made our stay in KLvery enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed in the Concorde Hotel for 2 nights, mainly because it is next to his client's office.
Everything from check in to check out is a great experience to us. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The deluxe room we stayed in was spacious and clean. One minor thing is that the wall of the shower where the holder is fixed is ruptured. It seemed like the hand shower holder was not screwed on properly. Also, soundproofing can be improved as we could hear our neighbor getting up at 6.30am and check out. However, this is not an issue for me.
The other major problem is wifi. I couldn't seem to be able to connect to it for the 2 days we were there. My husband rang the receptionist who got the IT personnel to call us. He reset the router and it worked fine on his blackberry. However, I still couldn't get a connection on my iPhone 5 and it wasn't stable on my husband's iPhone 4 either. It could possibly be the incompatibility of devices.
The hotel is in between KLCC and the Bintang Walk shopping areas, so you need to walk or take some form of transport to get to these areas.

Breakfast is good with a wide variety of choices available. The service provided by the hotel concierge is excellent. If somebody needs a cab, They will turn on a light at the entrance of the hotel as an indicator to cab drivers passing by. In addition to that, there is no extra charge to this service. I've seen hotels in KL charging cab drivers (therefore indirectly passengers) for calling a cab. On top of that, all cabs we have taken from the hotel charged fare based on cab meter.

All in all, our stay is very enjoyable and we will definitely come back again.

the hotel is clean and centrally located. We enjoyed the breakfast and convenience during new year's eve.... like other hotels in KL...if u intend to travel around by taxi u will pay more during peak hour. So its better to avoid it unless u have other transport options.

however, the hotel has a funny booking system online where the prices u get exclude government tax and service charge of 16%. This you will discover when you when u check out....the rooms are clean and okay but quite dull. I guess its due to the size of the hotel. if want to enjoy

we stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. The hotel staff were very helpful & informative. as i was traveling with a 1 year-old, i foehot to bring dish soap to wash my baby's straw cup. i asked from the staff and they sent some to my room right away.

the room we stayed in was quite old, the interior seems a bit dull and there's no centralized switches to turn off lights, so we had to turn it off one by one.

breakfast was great, there are many varieties to choose from, but the queue was taking tpsbout 10 - 20 munutes, which happens everyday. on the second day, some of us were escorted to another hall where they've prepared the breakfast meals.

overall it's well worth the price, especially if you want to roam around KL city centre

If you on budget but wants a decent and safe and near places .Concorde is the place to stay .
Near the public transport so can avoid taking the cab.( mostly cabbie in KL are super rip off) not all but some are.

Nice smell as you enter the hotel and room was ready once you arrive.check time was at 12pm and latest check out is at 1pm.

Housekeeping is good.call up and ask if u want to have ur room to be clean .
Room was sound proof

room is small but its ok .bathroom was good size powerful shower ..good breakfast

over all I would recommend this hotel because of the location is near .to all the places.

WE stay here because its near monorail station and we just take the train and off the KL Sentral for transit to the airport..

stay for 3 nights

I'm always a bit sceptical about hotels with hundreds of rooms. Concorde has 580 of them. Even so, the place manages to preserve a measure of intimacy, at least in the Premier section. A comfortable room, decent customer service (when you push them a bit), and some very nice little extra touches all left us feeling quite good about the place.

Our booking with Concorde offered an attractive arrangement: the three-night Premier Package threw in a complimentary limousine pick-up from Kuala Lumpur International, private check-in counters, a dedicated breakfast venue, and a few other bits and pieces, and it wasn't THAT expensive, even though KL prices are a good deal higher than what we'd become used to paying in Thailand.

There wasn't ultimately THAT much wrong with 433, the first room we were offered. It was spacious and well-equipped, it faced the pool (rather than the street or the large construction site we could have got: please note that downtown Kuala Lumpur has more construction sites than you can shake a stick at), and it might even have offered a sideways view of the Petronas Towers, were it not for a wall jutting out right in front of the window.

More worrying was that the room was genuinely ice-cold, in the way that air-conditioned hotel rooms can be when the settings are seriously out to lunch. We resolved to get ourselves moved before we caught pneumonia or worse.

The following morning, the front office staff in the Premier Lounge took a little gentle persuasion to see that there really was a wall blocking much of the view of... well... of ANYTHING, but eventually they moved us up a couple of floors and slightly to the left. No complaints whatsoever about Room 729, which was also much less of a huge refrigerator than the first effort. Hooray!

In all fairness, both these rooms were very well appointed, with a decent-sized bathroom and an excellent shower cabinet, and all the extras one would expect at this level. Nice big bed, too, very comfortable, and with crisp linen that suggested quality above and beyond your standard 4-star executive hotel fare.

Breakfasts were splendid, and were taken in the Spices Restaurant next to the pool area. This is an attractive venue, and it was nice to be able to sit outside. My impression was that the "Premier" breakfast arrangements were very much better than what the hoi polloi experienced at the Melting Pot Café in the main lobby. No complaints about the staff, either, even though I do see quite a few posts on here drawing attention to this side of affairs. I can only say we found everyone at Concorde very helpful and friendly, without being creepily obsequious. I'm not sure we could say the same about the Hard Rock Café, located on the same premises, but that is the subject of another review.

The pool area was pleasant enough, but if the hotel puts up signs saying "No Jumping/Diving" and if it employs staff around the pool to hand out towels and suchlike, then one might expect the staff would try to enforce the "No Jumping" rule. Just a thought...

Check-out was quick and smooth, with no hiccups or unexpected charges, and the hotel fixed us up with a car to the airport, though admittedly this came with a pretty hefty price-tag. Location on Jalan Sultan Ismail is excellent, only a short stroll from the Bukit Nanas monorail station, which will get you most anywhere. The Twin Towers and the KL Tower are both close at hand if you like climbing tall objects.

All in all, we would have been quite happy with this hotel and would have given it a solid 4 out of 5 (it was a bit dull and businessy, perhaps, but hey, they sorted out the frozen room and the "no-view" problems graciously enough, the free Wi-Fi worked well, and housekeeping was generally spot-on), but then on the final afternoon of our stay something quite unexpected happened...

On our return to the room, we found an envelope containing an invitation for "Cheers Drinks and Fun" at the same Spices Restaurant we'd been having our breakfasts in. We cynically figured this would be "a glass of warm chardonnay and some nibbles" while we were given a pep-talk by a marketing person in a shiny suit, urging us to join the Concorde Hotels & Resorts Premier Loyalty Programme.

We went along anyway, and are very glad we did. Not only were we NOT approached by anyone - apart from smiling waiters plying us with drinks - but we also managed to eat our way through a very decent dinner's worth of delicious hot and cold buffet food. A superb advertisement for the restaurant, actually, but unfortunately for them we were leaving the next morning. And it was all free, gratis, and for nothing. Apparently this is arranged every Tuesday for the Premier people, although for obvious reasons the hotel doesn't make a huge fuss about it in the website literature. In any event, it was a very nice gesture indeed, and made us feel quite warm and fuzzy towards the Concorde. Win-Win!

We don't have any immediate plans to return to Kuala Lumpur, but if we did, I can safely say I'd choose to stay at Concorde again. The Premier Package is a good deal if you are spending three nights or more, especially if one of them happens to be a Tuesday (grin).

Room Tip: Pool-side generally good. Rooms numbered (x)33 have restricted views. No complaints about Room 729...
