Stayed only for 1night in 27th floor deluxe room, facing Petronas Towers with wi-fi, two double beds and shower with bath tub.

This hotel is 5-10mins.walk from the LRT Station (just be careful walking at night as some motorbikers can grab your bag as the hotel guard said to me). Luckily, as a solo female traveler, I walked from the hotel to LRT and reached "Jalan Alor" in Buking Bintang (famous place to taste the local foods in Kuala Lumpur) nothing happened to me. And, since it's almost midnight when I decided to go back to hotel, I ride a taxi...to feel safe.

This hotel offers a good room, with good buffet breakfast (good varieties of foods). All in all, I had a good stay but maybe next visit in KL, I will try some other hotel.

Note: This hotel is once the highest building in Kuala Lumpur (now next to Petronas Twin Towers). Deluxe Rooms are the only rooms with wi-fi so, better choose than the Standard room.

A good hotel to stay and also the location was terrific. Near the monorail station. Staffs were quiet polite and sweet-tempered. Breakfast and Services were perfect as well and you could ask as much as you want without being offended by anyone about the landmarks, attractions and whatever. There was even an iron for each room.
Taxi was always ready by the exit and the atmosphere and lobby was so good. Maybe sometimes a delay in elevator and some people with clothes on in the pool bother you a little but altogether that was fun!
Strongly recommend you to choose one of the top floors as I did. You’ll never regret. And one more thing, the sound absorbs are ridiculous; DO NOT make a lot of noise!

The hotel in itself is decent. If you're not going to spend much time inside, like if you're a tourist and use the room only to sleep at night, it's OK. They don't provide free WiFi, which was a complete shock for me, as I was on business and had to spend a day at the hotel attending meetings. The charges are exorbitant too, and they only provide one hour package, or a 24 hour one. Three of the six elevators were under renovation, which was quite a pain since we had to wait for a minimum of 5 - 7 mins for the lift.

The rooms are well maintained and clean. Most rooms have a spectacular view of Petronas Towers and the surrounding skyline of KL. It is also officially the tallest hotel in KL.

We didn't eat at the hotel except for breakfast, which was average at best. There are umpteen seafood restaurants serving delicious food nearby. Quite a few Indian joints, and there is the Chinese Hokkaido restaurant.

But for the WiFi, I would put our stay at Grand Seasons as 'satisfactory'.

Room Tip: Try to get a room with the view of Petronas Towers.

Stayed at grand seasons for 2 days in Jan 2014. The hotel claims to be a 4 star property, but lacks some basic amenities like wifi connectivity (available only above 20th floor--chargeable), Games room, digital cable connectivity ( poor TV transmissions all over). We stayed in Superior room, which was neat & spacious. Room service is quick & efficient. The hotel has 2 dining options , Indian & a multicuisine café. For Indians it is a paradise to find good Indian food in KL. The Indian restaurant is strictly buffet only (expensive by all means). I wouldn’t recommend the buffet, as it lacks the variety for the price it claims (60RM/PP). We went for the ala-carte meal, which is available on order in the Multi-cuisine restaurant. The food was really good in Indian standards. Their standard breakfast is decent. The hotel is at Dull North end of the city, a good 3 stations or 7-10 kms from the main city area, where no options are available for shopping or dining nearby. Nearest monorail station is “chowkit”, walk able from the hotel. The hotel is recommended only if you prefer to stay away from the crowded city centre area. To sum it up, apart from good Indian food I would have got better options at the same price in city center area.

Room Tip: Rooms on 20th floor, & above (east facing) has wifi connectivity as well has a good view of Petronas twin tower

The rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are nice and accommodating. Half the rooms face the Petronas Towers and if you are lucky to get these rooms (I was) you get a simply outstanding view of the towers. Overall, if you are looking for a decent hotel for a comfortable stay in Kuala Lumpur (away from all the hustle and bustle) would recommend Grand Seasons hotel.

Room Tip: Take Twin Tower view rooms on the higher floors
