“Not clean and very very small”
Reviewed 6 February 2014

We arrived in the middle of the night, it took a while before we entered the room, because we switched from room (1st room electricity doesn't work). Room was really small and no windows. The bedlinen was dirty, the wall not white anymore and dust at the ceiling. In the morning they knocked at the door for a towel (even when the sign 'Do not disturb' was at the door). The staff was really helpful with information about KL and the location was good as well. Not in the middle of town, but we knew that. A few minutes walk to the monorail. But overall it's a cheap option for KL!

We had the superior room its their cheapest and smallest room. But that didn't bother us. Its clean, there's free wifi, tv, warm water and the staff is very helpful. They stored our luggage free from charge when we went to the islands for 4 days. Its near Chinatown, 10 minutes walking distance and 5 minute walk to public transportation. Would book this hotel again when we visit Malaysia again.

We spend a total of 3 nights in this hotel. We first stayed 2 days and returned for another day later that week (after a trip to Cameron Highlands). We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are small but very clean. For the moment they have backpacker deal: 78 RM per night for a deluxe room (normal price 108 RM) so I would say, go in the coming 2 months to try!

the I-Hotel is about a 5 minute cab ride from the Pasar Seni metro stop which makes it a decent place to post up to explore the city. The hotel itself I would describe as "boutique" each room is decorated differently. How do I know this? During my stay there was a power outage and they moved me to a different room. The staff was apologetic, and I noticed one of their tech's bypassing a fuse. Risky business, but I'm assuming they replaced the fuse the next morning.

The rooms are super clean and comfortable, if not a bit small, but that's not a knock. The bathrooms are modern with a rather imposing looking contraption as a dual head shower & in wall heater. The water was also not on when I checked in, but they turned it on for me about an hour later.

Room Tip: they gave me a room upgrade on checkin, but not sure you can choose that.

I stayed here for 8 days at this hotel. We spent a day looking a few hotel around, finally we have found the best hotel that we are comfortable in. Because this hotel is different from others and have a different design in each room. The location is very convenience and near the train ( monorail ) station that can leads you to anywhere at the kl city centre. The staff were so friendly, helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable and it has the rain shower at every bathroom. Cool :) this street is good to stay in and its safe and have a car park space behind or at the front of the hotel that you can park. Would recommend this place for short or long stay. The best affordable hotel ever around kl.

I stayed here for one night whilst waiting a day for a flight to Perth.

We spent a long time looking for a place we could afford and stumbled on the i-hotel. Although budget accommodation the i-hotel is well located near the transport hubs. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean.

Would recommend this place for a short stay.
