A new hotel in Kuala Lampur with all the good characteristics of a budget hotel.
The best thing about the hotel is the receptionist at the front desk, she is just so knowledgable and helpful. She told us the best places to eat, rented us cars at low rates, and suggested good shopping centres, all with a big smile! The staff allowed us to check-in at 5AM though our room was booked from noon. I dont think anywhere I have seen this before. The best staff in town.
Beside the hotel is a small eatery where we had "Paranthas" for 3 at 4USD only.

Pros:
Helpful staff
Cheap rooms
Clean and spacious rooms
Nearby good and cheap eateries

Cons:
Might be difficult to locate the first time

Room Tip: The family rooms are good and spacious

I just finished a 2-night stay and was pleased with the selection. The only bad part about this hotel is finding it. It is located about a five minute walk from the Masjid Jamek LRT train station. It is stuck on a side street just around the corner from Masjid India. The Bing map on Tripadvisor currently shows the wrong location. It is on the little loop of a street just south of the current marker and just above the street labeled Jalan Bunus 1. Searching on Google also brings up the wrong location. Both of those issues may be because the hotel is relatively new.

The room, including the bathroom, was very clean. The bed was firm though not as firm as most of the Asian rooms have. It provided a very comfortable night's sleep. As noted in another review, the rooms are relatively small but are still large enough to be comfortable. Also as noted in another review, the walls are thin by western standards (though not so much by Asian standards). That said however, it was not a problem at night. The rooms do lack two things that are almost standard now. Those are a small refrigerator to keep drinks or water cold and, probably more important to most travelers, an in-room safe for your valuables. For me, neither of those was an issue but for others it might be.

Two things I really loved about the room we the abundance of hot water with good water pressure and a rain head shower head. Both make waking up in the morning easier for me.

The staff was friendly and helpful. All of them that I spoke to spoke decent English, especially those at rhe front desk.

I will definitly be staying there again when I head to Kuala Lumpur.

Room Tip: While there was no noise that I noticed, a room toward the back of the hotel is probably a better op...

i had few not so good experiences in budget hotels in KL but i finally found my place.hidden but really well located nearby the LRT station from where u can go cheaply anywhere.Very friendly and nice helpful staff which u can really ask any info about KL.
The room was a bit small and without window but for that price i cant complain cause was really clean, well furnished and yes,the shower is superior.
I will be back!

We arrived at the hotel of Jalan Masjid India at first in error. The receptionist there was definately not that friendly and barely pointed us in the right direction.

However, when we did find the correct hotel, just around the corner at the end of a cul-de-sac in Little India, the staff were fabulous. Very friendly and able to have a laugh with us.

Our room was pretty small but it was perfectly formed, good tv, kettle and coffee (3 in 1 but still...), clean, comfortable and a really nice shower.

The location was really good too, close the the LRT system which is easy to use and cheap. We could see the KL tower from our room and could see the Petronas Towers from quite close by too.

The downside was that the walls were pretty thin. We could hear what sounded like a large family next door to us until late into the night. Neither the fault of the family or the staff (we didn't complain as we did not fancy a change of room so late at night). Just something to be aware of. The hotel could do with some better sound-proofing but I guess that is not so easy to implement.

Because of its location, this hotel has become a great hotspot for Malaysian...The room was clean and the decor was very nice. The nearest shopping center was SOGO and there was one more shopping center for ICT products. There is a night market is on saturdays. The place is close to the LRT Train Service.
