Description: Fresca (meaning "fresh" or "cool") brings classic Mexican cuisine to Kuala Lumpur. The idea came about by two adventure-seeking siblings who fell in love with Mexican food and the country's passion for La Vida. Fresca Mexican Kitchen specialises in "botanas", small plates, easy for sharing. Only the freshest ingredients are used - the pico de gallo and guacamole are prepared daily and corn tortillas are home-made and hand-pressed the traditional way. But Fresca is as much a bar as it is a restaurant - A great place to kick back, watch the world go by whilst enjoying a margarita or one of Fresca's very own cocktail creations. The interior uses a mix of distressed brick and rustic timber, intricately dovetailed with contemporary industrial elements, giving an overall modern Mexican restaurant look and feel.

The food here is good, we pretty much had a few small dishes to share. Tacos, rice etc. very tasty and the margarita was excellent. It was just a little over priced. It is a cool bar like atmosphere but there are cheaper alternatives nearby.
If you really have a hankering for Mexican go here otherwise check out the local places downstairs

Service was attentive without being too obtrusive. Food was so so and possibly adapted for local Malaysian palate. Nevertheless, a nice restaurant located at a quieter section of Mega Mall which functions as an oasis from the shopping crowd

Excellent ambience, good use of space and fine deco/furnitures are evident in every corner. Food quality was good, short winelist but all quality drop, and friendly/efficient service. A good combination of a successful eatery. I am not a big fan of Tex-Mex cuisine, but this is a restaurant which I would consider to return for more. Highly recommended when you are looking for something different at the Gardens Mall.

Authentic Mexican cuisine, right in KL Sentral.

We went for drinks + dinner and ended up getting a few appetizers to share instead of main courses. I recommend this place if you are anywhere near KL Sentral

Jalapeño poppers (with beef and cheese)....so delicious that we got a second round. The mango salsa that it comes with is a perfect combination.

Chicken nachos....very good, but a little heavy on the refried beans. It made the chips a bit soggy.

Beef tacos....these were just OK. Would have been better if the restaurant provides an option of flour or corn tortillas. I much prefer flour over corn, and I think people are typically divided on one or the other.

We stopped in just for a quick lunch and weren't disappointed.

Service was good, food fresh and arrived quickly. Price was reasonable. Plenty of comfy seating available.

Is located near the entry to the Gardens Residences and Hotel, tucked away in the corner.

It's a shame this cafe is in Mid Valley. Mid valley is a bugger to park at. If this cafe was anywhere else I'd definitely be going again for more chilli con quest dip. I haven't seen any other Mexican restaurants in KL that serve chilli con queso.
