“Horrible Breakfast everything is processed and packaged food”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

This Hotel is close to Bukit Bintang shopping , restaurant-bar street, where the action is and the metro station to get around.
Friendly staff, rooms very small but clean and save. Only Asian people seem to frequent this place. Breakfast is horrific ..instant coffee, white bread and loads of deep fried processed food. Malaysian are simple the most unhealthiest people as they thrive on palm oil, which is in everything. Loads more Hotel around but one can beat the price and get a bit better. Would not choose it again. To The Management please remove that ugly rag at the entrance, which is all crumpled up and does nothing but make you trip over it. This place needs some womans touch .

The hotel is ok for the price. Its in a good location and handy for bars, restaurants and shops.

My main gripe was other guests banging doors and such like pretty much all night which meant I couldn't sleep. For some reason people knocking on the door next to mine at all hours- crossed my mind a prostitute might have been using it! The knocking woke me up every coupe of hours- might have just been a group of idiots staying in the hotel.

I probably wouldn't bother staying there again.

I normally stay in another place just 50 meters down the road (La Comme Inn). That is also a budget place. But this was being offered even cheaper. Look here's the deal, it's not a luxury hotel. But it was clean, it's a pleasant space and it's less than a five minute walk to the city center. It was cheaper than my usual place and I would say better in all ways. If a Hostel is a bit too budget for your tastes and what you want most is a clean room with a nice bed, modern TV and your own bathroom plus free wifi. This fits the bill perfectly.
I will certainly stay here again.

We were somewhat stranded in this area for a night and Al Jafs was the only place with a vacancy. The hotel was neither impressive nor bad. The staff was cordial and helpful; the rooms were a bit run-down, but acceptable; the breakfast was lackluster, but not worse than expected. The location is a big plus. It is walkable distance from KLCC, KL Tower, food hawker's street, several malls, and easy access to the free bus and rail system. Overall, it is a budget hotel, and it's about what you'd expect.

By just the name we should have known its more to middle east family manage, upon check in given a room on third floor but you must press the lift 2nd floor, room cleanliness is acceptable, most of the time I come back they will ask for my room number which a few of their people always group in the lobby area, bad in recognizing their own guest or just for the fun of security sake. If you do have a wife or companion with you, you wont feel comfortable with all their eyes on you. Room was never clean during my stay, perhaps it will only be clean during check out of upon request. Limited TV channels in room with blurry pictures. Hot water not stable a short time hot than cold during shower. No hair dryer on loan but do have iron. Breakfast was serve omelet, sausage and nugget as a buffet with all the bread butter and jams. Overall the location is the best bet, near to train station, near to all main shopping mall, bar areas, lot of budget hotels if you feel not safe here, east to get a cab or public transport, walking distance to china town, KL tower and KL twin tower

Room Tip: Request for high floor due to the public noise below

Family of 5 frm Spore :-

Thurs 27th Nov13 - Sun 1st Dec13

When Mr Husb said hes gonna book a 2star hotel, I was a bit skeptical, for we hv 3 kids..8 & 7yo girls and a 3yo boy...My main concern is the surroundings...we proceeded with the booking via Agoda anyway....This is our 1st time checking in a 2star hotel...

Location : GPS helps a lot...just need to enter the address and u just gotta work yr way frm there....took us abt 10mins to find the hotel frm main road....we seriously dont know what to expect but Mr Husb and 'PapaGo (GPS)' works well together...lol..! Another reason we booked this is bcoz its soo close to Bukit Bintang..!

Theres only 3parking lots available just outside the hotel....if all are taken up, u can park yr vehicle by the side of the hotel...

Checkin : Checkin was a breeze...a Malay lady attended to us...Fluent in English...gave us our rm key, wifi password and we're done in less than 10mins...u gotta walkup a flight of stairs b4 lift is available...., so not suitable for wheelchair bound person...

Room 401 :
Booked a family room at SGD60/nite...Room is clean and comes with a bathroom with basic toiletries...water dispenser is available near lift landing on every floors...(total of 4flrs)....Everythings fine in the room but the spotlight just outside our window is way too bright....Rooms are quite close to one another soo u can actually hear the opening and closing of doors...

Bfast : For a budget hotel that serves bread, eggs, sausages & fried wings is considered good enough for us...anyway if that isnt enough, Halal food can easily be found in Msia...!! The minus point is the chicken are undercook....Told a male staff abt it but he just shrugged it off...well...nvmind...

Anyways..., we had a pleasant stay at Al-Jafs...location, room and price is all worth it...
