Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur

The hotel has fantastic views of the city.
Location wise, it's next to the Bukit Bintang walkway. This walkway connects the not only the monorail that goes to central market but also the shopping malls.
Thirty8 has great deserts, a must if you stay at Hyatt.

Love the checkin process at the sky lobby. We were impressed with the service and the room overlooking KLCC was comfortable and modern as well as spacious. The children loved the pool and so did we. Location wise is really strategic as it is just walking distance to KLCC and other areas of interest like the pavillion for shopping.

Our short stay at the Grand Hyatt over the last weekend was a delight. The property is strategically located, nestled between the Pavilion and Suria KLCC, connected by underground walkway and covered sky bridge. Being just a hop and a skip away from Aquaria KLCC and the Petrosains Centre also makes it an ideal spot to lodge on a short city getaway with the kids. The rooms were well designed and offered a comfortable sense of space and the bed was firm as we liked it. The kids were wowed by the smart glass bathroom screen which switches from clear to translucent and back at the press of a switch.
In-room dining on every occasion was a pleasant dining experience, smoked salmon perfectly chilled, soup piping hot, prawns plump and succulent and the steak was grilled to perfection.
Unfortunately, I can be quite stickler for the finer details, e.g. having to ask for a creamer of milk with my English Breakfast and having to call out for refill three consecutive mornings, not having the morning papers delivered, seemingly unresolved confusion over my checkout date and despite repeatedly signing off as “Mrs”, I have been incessantly addressed as “Ms”.
Having said that, we will still not hesitate to return if and when we're next in KL.

We arrived in KL spending two days in Langkawi and honestly I didnt think it would get better. I travel to KL almost every mobth for work and usually choose to stay at a hotel next to office to save traffic time. This was a personal trip and I took my mom along. She loved the city. But truly the highlight was our stay at this wonderful hotel. This is a true Hyatt hotel with the most scenic 360° view of the city from the 38th floor lobby. The fantastic up close view of the Petronas Towers is breathtaking especially at night. But what I really loved was the most amazing staff (ever). My mom was having trouble walking after our exhausting day trip. When we arrived back the staff welcomed us in and as we walked to the lifts two of them came after my mom asking her to sit down and that they would arrange for a wheel chair. One of the boys said that his mom also has sciatica and he could see her pain. After that the next two days they took care of her everywhere we went within the hotel - and I rested so much easier bcoz of it. This stuff cant be just corporate service training - this care comes from the heart. Lovely lovely beautiful people. God bless you all.

Easy to book over the phone & email confirmation was immediate. Upon checkin we were promptly upgraded & shown to the room. Room was huge. Beautiful wooden floors, marble bathroom, spacious & lovely bath with a see-through glass so you can watch tv if you don't turn on the privacy screen.

Really comfortable beds & floor to window mirrors, easy temperature control & nice work table - well set-up.

Didn't eat at the Hyatt, but it always smelt delicious & the bar service was nice & personalized. They also offered us complimentary taste of the Japanese whiskey on promotion.

Check out was easy, overall loved staying & can't wait till next time.

I checked in to Hyatt on my birthday. The reception realised the day and offered a complimentary birthday cake and a room upgrade. It was an unexpected pleasant surprise for me! As it's name, Hyatt is grand and location is fantastic as I could see the twin towers from the hotel lobby and the room. It in a class of its own and I had a perfect birthday celebration there thanks to Hyatt!
