For RM10 (foreigner price) the Muzium Telekom provides a small but surprisingly well put together exhibit that details in parallel the global and Malaysian histories of telecommunication.
The primary focus of the exhibition is an extensive verbal and pictographic timeline (English and Bahasa Malaysia) which I found quite interesting. The museum also contains a decent collection of old telecommunication technology, although I would have liked to see a more detailed description of each item as many were unnamed and somewhat ambiguous.
Overall a very good museum given the limited scope, although if you have no interest in either history or information and communications technologies then you might find it a bit dull.
An hour is sufficient time to thoroughly take in the full exhibit.
