“View was the nicest part”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

Uncomfortable hard bed. Soft furnishings felt dated for what is supposed to be a relatively new hotel (i.e. the mirror in my room had thick black scratch marks all over). Rooms are spacious but layout is slightly odd- for example, had a closed shower room with a bathtub inside it- can't use a standalone shower without constantly knocking into the bathtub. There were mosquitos in my room late at night- the one thing you don't want to deal with after arriving at 1am in the morning. There was no mosquito repellent available. To his credit, the manager at that time did send someone out for this and did give show me 2 rooms to pick from. I think this is a service apartment and you cannot really describe it as a hotel or particularly luxurious (despite the pictures/description). Having said that, I would consider it good value if you are travelling in a big group/family. Spent the next night in a 3 bedroom apartment and it was much nicer.

Room Tip: 3 bedroom apartment was nice (21st floor).

We stayed for 4 nights and it is by far one the best serviced apartment we have stayed in. Good central location for food and shopping. Our one-bedroom apartment was spacious with a well equipped kitchen, although it would be nice to have a chopping board. We were on the 43rd floor and the view was amazing. Service was excellent; nothing was too much trouble. The pools (there were 3 + 1 jacuzzi) and play area were a big hit with my children so much so that they just want to stay in most of the times. Highly recommended for families. Will definitely be back!!

So impressed, want to write the review while we are still here!! We have booked a 3 bedroom apartment which is simply stunning...brand new, spotless and very convenient to walk to eateries, bars and shopping malls (Pavillion/KLCC/Megamall via free shuttle or 20 mins walking distance). Approx 2050 sq ft or 191 sq m, which is huge. The master has an en suite whilst bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom. Plenty of storage, mod cons i.e. large plasmas, Blueray DVD with surround sound, free wifi. Amazing views of KLCC, especially if you're on a high floor (48 floors in total). We are staying in the 39th.

The staff (front desk, reservations, housekeeping, security, porters) are all extremely helpful and provide an excellent service.

No complaints at all. Some reviews mentioned poor breakfast choice....each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen. You can do an online Tesco shop and have your food delivered. Make your own breakfast or go out to the numerous restaurants which serve amazing Malay, Western or Indian breakfast for as little as 7 RM. We didn't eat b/fast provided by Lanson....no need.

The facilities: Amazing pool, gym, top floor lounge..you can't ask for more.

Location: A 5 mins stroll to the bars and restaurants; a free shuttle to the monorail station which is 5 mins away. As mentioned above, the free shuttle also takes you to the malls in a 'Lanson Place' branded new mini van, several times a day.

We didn't ask to be picked up from the airport, as the quote was 400 RM. You can easily purchase a taxi voucher at the airport just after passport control and before you exit into the arrivals terminal. It cost us 80 RM for 4 passengers and 3 cases!

If you want to stay in a luxurious apartment, with housekeeping every other day (they even wash up the dishes!) then do not hesitate to book Lanson Place at Bukit Ceylon. Don't get confused and book the wrong one...there are other Lanson Apartments which are not as new as this place...only 1 year old. Enjoy!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor for amazing views; bring or buy washing powder as there is a washer/dryer - abs...

Located not far from the golden triangle just about 10 minutes walk
The apartments are very clean fully furnished
The beds are extremely comfy and the pillows are great
staff are extremely friendly.the only let down is the buffet breakfast, It's very minimal for the amount one is paying for staying at the Lanson

Room Tip: High floors 40-42 facing the KL Tower and twin Towers have better views

Clean, spacious, great location, attractive...

Can't really say much more.

We are currently booked in for 2 weeks.

This has to be the best and mist well equipped serviced apartment that I've ever stayed in. 1 washing powder, 1 dishwashing tablet, bottles of water, tea and delicious coffee, shampoo, shower gel by Gilchrist, a daily cleaner. Tonnes of storage space. Amazing pool(s), kids playground, BBQ.... Handy security team, polite staff who remember your name.

I've got nothing to complain about. I certainly stay again.

Room Tip: Bijan restaurant which is 2 mjns away is fab.

Spent three nights here in a one bedroom apartment while on a visa run with the family (2 adults and 2 kids in all). They provided a baby cot free of charge and we easily fashioned a bed for the older child from the sofa. Slightly odd layout to the apartment we had but no major complaint and I believe the layout varies from apartment to apartment. Housekeeping seemed a bit slow on checking rooms to make up - we left reasonably early one morning with a "please make up room" sign on the door and returned mid afternoon and the room had not been done. Still, this not a big deal and overall service was excellent. Great place, would definitely stay again on my next visit to KL whether on business or with family. Oh and great swimming pool!
