A very beautiful place to visit for bird lovers. Lots of nice different birds you can visit just by your side not in cages! It's very hot there. Don't forget to bring a thing that you can cool yourself there. And don't forget visiting the bird show there. Full of joy & fun.

I had 24 hours to kill in Kuala Lumpur, and was recommended by a friend to visit the Bird Park. It's definitely well worth a visit, and has an extensive collection of Hornbills. There were many birds there I had never seen before, as well as the usual favourites. The Birds of Prey have a pretty rough deal - they are in very small enclosures, compared to most of the birds who have room to spread their wings in various enclosed areas of compatible species. The Parakeets & Lorikeets are particularly friendly, and can be fed by hand.
I was in for a special treat; just as I was leaving, I turned around to see a Peacock fanning his tail - a fantastic sight!

We had a great afternoon. Had lunch in the hornbill restaurant and it was yummy food. We were only spending a little while and stayed much much longer than we expected. The whole family loved it. Great photos

Excellant weekend day out, almost of children thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is the best bird park! Many of activities and its free ranging interaction with the animals. Love it
