Located in one of the most commercial section of the city. The reason why i did not like this hotel is the price of the rooms were way too costly than it deserves to be. At a glance it looked like a used room. Being a three star hotel it needs to cater with a star status...but it was disappointing as the staff too were very slow to our response. Adding to the woes was the washbasin tap in the bathroom which was leaking. The hotel is not far those who are looking for a vacation or quality time...although good for business purpose.

Since prices are skyrocketing in Kuala Lumpur for no apparent reason (missed flight), finding a reasonably priced hotel is a task for its own. The rooms you get at the Grand Pacific are not the best ones you'll ever get, but they do the job. Make sure you're got AC, though. The reception is pretty much business like then again if you look for the South East Asian joy de vivre you might be wrong in Kuala Lumpur anyway.

This is a three star hotel but the facilities are comparable to a four star hotel. Price is very reasonable and the place is very clean. They have a restaurant at the lobby of the hotel which serve buffet breakfast.

Stayed for one night at the hotel due to company sports game. The room was alright for 2 single beds, toilet seems alright for me, no smelly smell or anything. Thus the front office lady was a little bit harsh and the staff there was not so friendly though. My friend and I found out that the room door only provide hatch lock, which is not so secure, for my friend and I. The door has no other lock and we felt it could be easily access by strangers. There was this one night club next to it which make lots of noise and we can hear people sang wedding's songs aloud. Our room located in front of the road and it creates lots of noises during night time, especially for those 'mat rempit' testing their engines and skills.

Breakfast spread was ok. Not much choice but since it was a small budget hotel, we decided just to fill our stomach for the next game. The ambiance at the cafe was so relax with the choices of colours create refreshing spots. Wifi available at the cafe as well.

However, it could be good place to stay for fast moving trip but not for those who look for vacation sport as its located too near to the main road and not much food stall available.

Dark dingy rooms, smelly and stained bedlinen, cramped and dirty bathroom, awful location, unpalatable breakfast buffet.
In a nutshell: Avoid at all cost.

Plus, more than one helpful taxi driver advised me that the area was unsafe, and not to venture into the nearby streets late evening/night.

The hotel is close to a train station though.
