“Perfectly fine apartment in a good position”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 October 2011

Please don't expect this to be a 5 star experience because chances are you are not paying anything like 5 star prices. We found our 2 bedroom apartment to be a very economical alternative to 2 hotel rooms. We had 2 bathrooms, a very spacious lounge/dining area and a well stocked kitchen. The pool area was smallish but adequate for a bit of exercise. the breakfast was fairly basic but sufficiently interesting for us. The location is outstanding and it is a well maintained and stafed property. The value was outstanding. The Italian restaurant near the front door is very good and there is another one aound the corner. We would stay here again.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment on Floor 10 for 4days.
There was 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with a large bathroom with a bath tub seperate from shower. It was a very spacious, comfortable, great layout, decently modern.
The other smaller bedroom was good-sized (most likely for the children) with two king-single beds, a wardrobe, desk with mirror, etc. It did not have an ensuite like the master but that is never expected. It was right next to the main bathroom. It does not have a bathtub but it was not needed.

Service: Perfect, greeted kindly, helpful, smiling always, friendly.
View: There was the Petronas Twin towers view from the window in the lounge, both bedrooms had the sky tower view. These looked beautiful at night time!
Pool: Small, adequate, still fun to splash and cool down in or relax. It was outdoor and shaded. This was on level 4 along with the gym, little childrens playground, and breakfast, laundry room (with like 10 washing machines which we never use because i think you pay and some random books on the shelf, i guess for people to read when bored).
Location: It is not SUPER convienant- we have never walked but it is around RM 10 to taxi it to Pavilion, petronas etc. Some taxis use a meter and some in which you can SORT OF haggle price. The maximum we have paid is 25Rm.
Breakfast: OPENS AT 7-10.30am in the morning. It is super basic - rice, cereal, egg station (request staff who stand there and make it for you), noodles, juice, etc. It was still yummy and just more than adequete and fine. No complaints!
Kitchen: Good large sized fridge, large 6people dining table, a good range of utensils such as spoons, cups, forks....
They gave us new free water bottle on the daily when there is room service! Big thumbs up as we likeclean water without having to boil it ourselves all the time.

Generally, this is not a super duper fancy / luxury hotel (you can pay triple more for that elsewhere, because you need to oay for two rooms elsewhere anyway) but it is modern, and extremely perfect for family who like a large space and good comfort, clean and on a slight budget - it is not a cheap budget hotel but better than average.

It was a quiet hotel, there is no noise complaints and slightly noisy aircon though not annoying and disturbing.
Also, the beds are a tiny bit hard, though im sure it is not a major issue at all.
Definetly would comd back!

We stayed here for a week. The apartments were really nice, spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and really helpfull. The breakfast is ok, very basic, same goes for the pool.
The location is very good, the food stalls on Jalan Alor are just a block away. And its only 15 minutes walking to the big malls and food courts in Bukit Bintang.
Will definitely stay her again.

I stayed in Somerset Seri Bukit for four nights. It is in one of the nice places Bukit Bintang in KL. There are many restaurants and pubs near by.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Service was good. Breakfast was bare minimal but sufficient enough. Pool is bit small.

I'd recommend it for a stay with family. There are couple of malls in walkable distance.

We stayed here recently and through the rooms were very big, nothing really worked well in them, the staff were friendly but not that helpful, the pool was really very small and the tiles around them were a hazard and the breakfast was basic to say the least. There was construction next door and it took about 20mins to check in. The check in procedure was odd and the lift were slow. It was adequate but I think next time we come to KL we will pay a few more dollars and stay somewhere a bit nicer.

My family stayed there for a couple of days. They have spacious rooms and well provided kitchen wares and utensils. The staff are friendly and courteous. Very clean and we will surely be back in Somerset whenever we are in Malaysia again.

We had a high expectation after reading rave reviews here but when we had entered our room at 2 am we were stunned. It can't be better (and that too when we had booked the smallest room)!
Huge room, sitting area and kithenette. Very clean and hygenic. Every possible utensils and a well made bathroom sums up everything.
My toddler son liked the room so much (flat screen tv and the dvd player specially) that it was quite difficult to take him out.
Security was very strong with Only Card Key acces at every stage starting from the main door in the lobby.
Very helpful and smiling staff. Breakfast area was small and not a huge spread but it was as expected for us after reading reviewes here.
Location was also awesome..in a quiet area but easily accessible to all happening places including KL tower and Bukit Bintang
Overall it was one of the best stay experience for us!
Thanks Somerset seri Bukit Ceylon! We will surely be back.
