Room: I got the biggest room and it was awesome. Living area with bedroom and bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Simply great.

Amenities: Not much here, but there's an attached bistro which serves awesome coffee and looks like it has a comprehensive menu of local food.

Staff: Competent, polite; full score here.

Location: Awesome! Well-connected to Bukit Bintang shopping district, Jalan Alor food area, and easy access to public transport.

We got there around 9pm only to be told they had cancelled our reservation 3hrs ago (wtf!?). They said rooms are still available so we paid, which was alot more than our original deal and only after being charged they told us its a downgraded room and that its non-refundable. The room was tiny with peeling walls, burnt outlets, hair on the floor and what looked like noodles on the shower floor. We went to get a refund for the rest of the nights and they said they will upgrade our room by cancelling on another guest while they chatted in their language, checking their phones and sighing. Its dissappointing when we know that the people of this country are usually friendly and very helpful.

At first I had booked my usual hotel in KL, but my sister said she wanted to book this hotel because she read good reviews about this hotel, so I cancelled my booking and followed her.

The room they gave us was very small with big pillars in it. Two of our rooms got these pillars so we only had a little space to walk and the room looked so compact. One room looked slightly bigger without the pillar.

When we checked in, the room smells of cigarette. I think our neighbours smoke and all the smokes accumulated in our room when we checked in at 10 p.m. The hotel staff came and sprayed the room.

At 3 a.m. somebody was smoking and all the smoke rushed into our room. This hotel's ventilation is not good. There is only one big window on the whole floor. So if somebody smokes, the aisle and other rooms will be smoky. I called them at 3 a.m. to find who is smoking. We could not sleep and opened the window to let the smoke go out the whole night. It made us can not feel the cold air from the air conditioner. They won't let us move to the other floor as they said they were fully booked.

On the second night , we encountered the same problem again. Smoke made us can not breathe. We called the front desk and they said they will check because it is a non-smoking hotel. We opened our window which made some mosquitoes flew in. I think the management should imply strict fine when somebody is caught smoking. They make other people suffer as the smoke is circulated there.

The bathroom doesn't have a separator between dry and wet section. The shower in our room always provide warm water no matter which direction I turned to . This hotel shared a quite big parking space with the other hotel. We always have space although we came back late at night. The security guard of the hotel is helpful.
