This was the worst experience we have ever had. This hotel should be demolished, nothing about this hotel was what the website was true. Place was moldy, bathroom stunk every time you flushed, air-conditioning wasn't working, sheets were stained, bed was like sleeping on box springs. Complimentary breakfast was terrible. I have nothing good about this hotel apart for the great view of the Twin towers. I would never go back nor will I dare recommend it to my friends or families.
OVERALL VERY DISGUSTED!!!

Room Tip: No rooms would be suitable

Brisdale is one in malay who have bad service, at the time when there is room attendant who will tidy the room, she was doing very badly and far away from the friendly service, then the receptionist was also very unfriendly, that time when I out of the room, I forgot to bring the key to his room, so at that point my friend and I could not enter our room, and I asked for help to his receptionist but we actually scolded

The hotel did have a good view of both the Petronas Twin Towers and the Merena Tower. But it was at the very end window of each floor. Getting breakfast was not difficult due to local wet markets surrounding the hotels. There were at least 4 wifi boxes at each floor but if u live too close to the end of the hallway u'll get no reception at all. Thats why we had to change our room.

1. Dont expect all the toiletries to be there. No toothbrushes, hairbrushes nor toothpaste until u request for it. 2. The house keeping staff's English ability will require u to use alot of body language. 3. The mosque is too close to the hotel. The Kiblah music will play 5 times a day in full blast muslim prayer. 4. Every window opens. Doors cant be properly locked. Please always double check!! 5. The district is Chow Kit. Thats the Brooklyn in Malaysia- the Ghetto. You'll see druggies, dealers and people that stare at u if ur a woman ( unclothed). 6. No transporation is provided by the hotel. No shuttle, no buses, no toktoks... U need to walk 10-15 minutes to the local subway LRT. Which is great when u know the route clearly!!

First of all, this hotel may have 5-star location BUT the feeling of security is definitely absent. The door latch was practically non-existent and on top of that, the door could not be locked. That meant anyone with the access card to our room could get in. So, there was this incident that even after the room was tidied, one person of the housekeeping team just opened the door to my room. Were it not for my presence at that moment, who knew what would have happened.
Second, the first night we turned in, within minutes we could already felt itchiness on our legs. What was the cause? Bedbugs!! We asked for a change of rooms but it was only after 3 nights that we moved from the dingy 8th floor to the revamped 15th floor. And that was also because the situation took a bad turn; the ceiling above the table was leaking!! And the whole table along with our belongings was wet. However, luckily, the electric cables were unscathed.
Enough with the facilities. The service was equally bad as well. The housekeeper did not understand the meaning of the 'Do Not Disturb' sign and cleaned our rooms. How in the world can this happen? Besides that, on the day of the leakage, applause to the housekeeper who dried the wet area but a big big boo to the reception. The incident happened at 10.30 am after which we returned to our course at the hotel ballroom when the receptionist assured us that we could get the keys to our hotel room at 1pm. HOWEVER, when we approached them(the receptionist was playing with her phone) at 1pm they told us to wait another 15 minutes again. What the heck have they been doing for the past 2 and a half hours? My goodness...and the facial expression when they gave us the keys was of utter indifference and rudeness.
To top that off, after a climatic high upon reaching our new room, our expectations really hit rock bottom when we realised the new sink also leaked!

Room Tip: Please request for rooms at floors 15 and above.

At AUD50 per night for thee ppl it was okay value but shoddy bathroom, loud ineffective AC, no wifi made this place tolerable but poor. The location is okay being 5m walk from the monorail and a 20m ride into CBD. Breakfast was expensive so we missed it.

I stayed with the Brisdale Hotel in the Last week of December 2013 and was very very satisfied with the ambience and the friendliness of the staff. The Hotel is located in a seedy quarter of Kuala Lumpur but it atmosphere more than makes up for the environment it is placed in. The Breakfast in the rood coffee Shop is filling and satisfying. On the whole I had a very very pleasant and memorable experience in the Hotel.

Room Tip: The higher the floor the better.
