I have never experienced The Coco De Mer tropcal Plant, Nowhere else on the Planet does it Grow. One has to fly from Mahe Island to Pralin where this exocit Forest is located. Its so strange as the Fruit is shaped as a hugh womans's behind and also there is a male organ shaped with flowers, its hilarious, as I travaled with a wonderful group, amongst them was a Naughty American Writer, and he told me the previous night what the forest is like, I was quite embarrassed and did not believe him. However the next day he walked up to me at the entrance where some of the fruit was displayed and said " didn't I tell You"! I really didn't know where to hide my face........What an Experience. Its a Must Go Walk About!

The Botanical garden is a place where you can experienced and see some exotic plants of the Tropical Island some found only in Seychelles. The Coco De Mer Tree which grows the biggest seed in the world. Also is the usual shape of the seed of that fruit, shaped like the pelvis of the female gender. Despite the garden being located in Victoria you still breath that pure fresh air in the garden. A place to visit with the whole family.

Nice visit to see trees, plants, flowers and tortoises. The coco de mer trees were nice. Tortoises were fun to watch.

It was a little difficult to find. I think the garden needs better signage. Cost is 100 Seychelles rupees per adult.

I would visit again for the peace, quiet and sights.

Wonderful, well-tended gardens. Saw our first Coco de Mer tree and giant tortoises. Saw lots more of both on Praslin and La Digue, must this is a must-see highlight of Mahe.
