Interesting garden to visit on the island. The whole wetlands feeling that one gets warming the island forest becomes more targeted when you visit the garden.
The various types of trees and plants is interesting to learn and dot down.

If you are done with sight seeing in Mahe and have some spare time, then this place may be on the bucket list. There is an entrance fee of 100 SCR per person. You get to see the famous Coco de Mer tree and the nut here. You also get to see giant turtles. Feeding the turtles is at an additional cost. This place is relatively small so can be covered in about 2 hours comfortably. There are benches all over the place to relax for a while.

Visiting this garden during sunny afternoon was fantastic. The garden is small and well organized. I like watching and feeding the big turtles in the garden. The restaurant and coffee shop were closed for maintenance work.

Entry fee is 100 rupees. So, it would be wise if you enter with few hours in hand. The park is well maintained. You can relax in some benches which are provided at various points. There are some giant fruit bats after the entrance to the left. You can also see Giant Aldabra tortoises in an enclosure and feed them too for a fee. But if you are coming from praslin or la digue i dont see the point of spending extra for the feeding. Overall for 100 rupees you can walk around and enioy the nature and relax.
