Although Seychelles has a high humidity, it is worthwhile to visit the Botanical gardens. There are so many trees and plants such as the famous Coco de Mer, beautiful orchids and other exotic plants. When the children need a break, get a milkshake at the restaurant. The kids can walk amongst the tortoises and feed them under the watchful eye of a parent.

The trip to the botanical gardens is a must when visiting Victoria.
Walking around the beautiful plants with the amazing palms & beautiful flowers in t3 humidity is a tropical experience not to be missed.
Visit the tortoise enclosure where you can feed them. They are so much bigger & friendly.
Stop at the cafe & experience the most amazing iced coffee to help you cool down.

If you have kids a botanical gardens visit on Mahè is a must. Here the kids and adults can feed the tortoises and find out more about them. There is also a restuarant and you can view the famous coco de mer coconuts and trees. We also had a better view of the fruit bats in the trees in the gardens.

You will not need longer than 20 minutes to appreciate this ‘attraction’ sadly having been to other natural garden whilst travelling this rates very low and wish I hadn’t wasted my time. It’s unkempt And clearly doesn't look loved or cared for at all. The signage is bad the pathways are bad very little to actually see. I don’t even want to comment on the giant tortoises...or the ducks in their pen.. go if you want to kill a bit of time but you will not come away refreshed or at peace and at one with nature.
