“chocolate in various forms”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 December 2011

What did i mean when i said that? Chocolate fondue, check. choco shake, check. choco cake, check. choco ice cream, check. Like i said - chocolate in various forms. My trio of gals checked out the fondue, churros and chocolate pecan tart. A bit pricey for desserts; spare at least P200 minimum to at least be able to order and higher for more "creative" fare. I liked the pecan tart, then again, I have a sweet tooth. The churros were okay, they had cinnamon on them. But the fondue... there were no strawberries that time we were around and they didn't replace it with kiwi or something similar. The apples were not...crunchy. It would be nice to have that - Crunch! - after you've sank your teeth into a choco-dipped apple.

It's a very cozy place. The servings seem decent for sharing, especially since you can't have too much of something sweet. Perfect location, just outside GB5's entranceand along that string of restos. If you get that chocolate craving when you're in the area, guess they'll have something for you.

“It's Chocolate!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2011

For a chocoholic like me this place is awesome. Great chocolate! A bit pricey though. Don't order anything but chocolate. Food isn't any good.

“Worst Bread ever tasted”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2011

Had chocolate previously here and overpriced but ok. This time I purchased a simple multi grain roll - expensive but thought it would taste OK. The bread was the worst I have ever purchased - hard on the outside, tough and almost stake on the inside - impossible to eat and probably only good thing to use it for is a door stop......no Value for money and will be the last time I visit and would never recommend to anyone. Sad as the staff are helpful and curteous - but sadly the product was simpy awful.

“Medium quality chocolate.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 June 2011

If you like hershey's milk chocolate or cadbury bars then you'll probably love Max Brenner's. Unfortunately the desserts we a major letdown. We didn't have a meal there, just dessert. Chocolate chip cookies were not edible, honestly, a total waste of fake sugary calories with a few large chips on top. The double chocolate cookie tasted the same as the regular one and the fudge/chocolate brownie smelled really good but then had no flavor. Desserts at Mary Grace are much better.
