We went to the President Tea House after a week of eating at Michelin starred restaurants in Hong Kong so maybe it was not fair to go to and rate this Binondo restaurant with a long history and good reputation. While the food was definitely better than most Philippine provincial Cantonese restaurants, we really can't say it was outstanding. The seafood pancit Canton was certainly good. Perhaps we'll go back again and try some other items on the menu. The staff, especially the manager, were cordial and helpful. As far as dining atmosphere, the President Tea House is not one of those gaudy places. It is a down to earth, comfortable, old time Binondo eatery.
