This is my favorite hotel whenever I'm in Manila.
Centrally located with lots of good restos within walking distance.
Also, Robinson's mall is just 10 mins walk away for shoppers and diners.
The hotel is charismatically simple. Rooms are clean and it has that homely feel about it.
Staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful.
Breakfast is good with adequate spread to cater to all and sundry.
There's a cafe adjoining the lobby and it is great place to chill with your favorite cuppa and slice of cake.
Highly recommended. It is a pearl of a gem !!

Room Tip: Ask for room facing the bay.

A little more expensive than several other hotels on Adriatico St., but worth every peso.
For the staff nothing is impossible and they are also quick when they help.
The room is very comfortable and has everything you need, the only complaint is perhaps that the A/C could have been a little more efficient. Cleaning is perfect.
Breakfast is a joy and the tasteful dining-room gives you a nice start of the day.
Adriatico St. and the neighbour-hood have a lot of bars and restaurants and you walk to Intramuros in 30 minmutes.

Pleasant hotel in a pretty good location recommended by a Filipino friend. We’ve stayed 3 nights in a clean and comfortable room. The rest of the hotel is also quiet: The restaurant is really elegant with a good staff.
Totally satisfied, I recommend this place.

I have stayed at this hotel often and have always rated it hotly. The rooms are small but clean and well appointed. The staff are courteous and efficient though they are slow in acknowledging e mail bookings or correspondence. The food in the Reastaurant is very average though the breakfast is good and the ambience overlooking the street pleasant. This was and still is my preferred hotel in Manila.

Room Tip: Pay a bit more and get a suite

We've stayed here for 3 days Feb. 2 to 5 2013. We had booked a De Luxe room which is spacious and clean. So love the bathroom which has an automatic bidet, a bathtub and a shower enclosed. Buffet breakfast was superb w/ so many choices. The staff are nice, friendly and always smiling. Very near to Robinson Midtown but it's not safe to come out in the evening, street children begging for your food or money, adults selling phones, gadgets or begging for money. But aside from that we had a wonderful time at pearl garden hotel and we're planning for our next stay here.

My girl friend recommended this hotel for my first trip to Manila. I did not know what to expect since it was my first time to Manila. The hotel is located quite centrally near to cafes, pubs, spa and a shopping mall. I had booked the executive room which is huge and very clean. Loved the bathroom which has a standing shower and a bathtub and also very clean. I had an early flight in so i got to the hotel way before checkin. The receptionist on duty on the morning of 26 Jan was really helpful and pleasant. She managed to get me an early checkin so that i did not have to wait. She also suggested that i have the breakfast at the cafe while i waited. This made my first day very memorable. I think her name is Elsa (sorry if I misspelt). The breakfast spread was quite normal, about the same with little variation each day. But it is rather nice enough.. the local fare is always good. The service is very good and the service staff are as expected very polite, attentive and always smiling. The other good thing about this hotel is the many TV channels so we actually spent a lot of time watching movies on the very comfortable bed. Walking to the shopping mall is a breeze except that the streets aren't the best. There is a massage place called Lucky Thai Massage which gives good and inexpensive massages. It is clean, has nice ambience with good service. I enjoyed the stay there very much.

We are a group of 6 n stayed at Pearl Garden from 6 to 11 Dec2012. We took 2 twin and 1 deluxe king. The hotel is in a centralised location in Malate within walking distance to a shopping mall and lots of restaurants. Our one common dislike is the strong smoking smell in the rooms, corridors n the lifts. The hotel is definitely in need of a renovation although house-keeping does a good job. The included breakfast, although limited in choice, is substantial.
It's a short taxi ride to Intramuros, Rizal Park, Chinese Cemetary, China Town in the North and Makati in the south. It's also quite close to Ninoy Aquino International Manila Airport.

Room Tip: Higher floors should be quieter
