Eurotel Pedro Gil is conveniently located in Malate, close to many of the tourist attractions in Manila, such as Intramuros & Mall of Asia, not too far from the airport, and with Robinson's mall directly across the road.

*When getting a taxi to this hotel drop the "G" when giving the location - the street is pronounced Pedro Il (the G is silent)

The hotel is clean & well maintained, the rooms are decent & feature a room safe (having experienced a theft from a similarly priced hotel in the area which featured only a safety deposit box in the room, and reading reviews on TA which mentioned similar experiences at hotels in the area, a proper room safe is something i regard as a very important feature). The room i stayed in this time was almost brand new (it had only been open for a month or so) and although small was quite adequate for my needs. I have stayed here one time previously and that time the room was also very acceptable.

The buffet breakfast is good and the staff, especially the door staff, are friendly and helpful.

A word of warning - hustlers in the area seem to target guests at this hotel (that is to say, i was approached many times by hustlers in the street & inside Robinson's mall, opposite). They claim to work at the hotel and then ask for money (a child's birthday was a common theme). They are not hotel staff, do not give them any money.

You need to train your receptionist how to entertain your customers, I'm really offset when I talking one of your receptionist if there is a available family room and she said no! Without giving eye contact to me .She ignored me,,, every travel I choose this hotel .I always refer to all my friends because its near everywhere. But now. Never ...ever! There's a lot of hotels have good service. Not only your hotel.

Booked a Euro Suite 1 Room, the room itself is a descent size, but basic.
Aircon is very poor hardly blows any cool air and cannot be adjusted. Bed is ok apart from the graffiti that has been added on the headboard. There is more graffiti on the opposite wall! ( Raises the question of who scrawls across hotel room beds and walls? , and what hotel then thinks it is ok to relet the rooms with this graffiti remaining ? Why not remove it? Thankfully it isn't offensive, but still shouldn't be just left there.
I dropped my pen and had to move the bedside cabinet (a box) to retrieve it and found used tissues and condom underneath along with other rubbish, I wonder how long this had been there? But clearly shows housekeeping hadn't cleaned room properly.
Rooms are just basically big boxes with no windows, seems as though they have attempted to just cram as many rooms as possible per floor resulting in a claustrophobic feeling in both rooms and corridors.
The bathroom is very dirty I don't know when it was last cleaned especially the shower screen which is coated in scum, (glass screen which is designed to be transparent is see-through no more just a mucky grey through soap scum).
The wifi works sporadically, when it does work it is ok, but you cannot guarantee the speed to last.
Breakfast is ok, asian breakfast no western dishes for breakfast.
Hotel is undergoing renovation There are cards advising of this inside elevator but not on websites advertising the hotel. This means that workmen start early in morning with associated noise and clutter in corridors. There are lights in the hallway which are hanging by cable(not set into ceiling as they are designed).
There is a strange smell within the rooms seems like they have added great amounts of airfreshner, but this is now overpowering.

The location of the hotel is good close to Robinson's and local transportation links, this is the only positive about this place.
I stay in Manila for few days most months, and without a doubt this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

We booked this room in a hurry and therefore did not check Tripadvisor.. "Big Mistake"
Frankly one of the poorest hotel experiences I have had in 7 years of travel to this country.
The website photos bear little resemblance to the actual product. Check in was efficient despite the front desk staff showing little if any real interest. We were provided a room on 4th floor. The room was very dirty, noisy, small, the air conditioning whilst efficient rattled continuously. The TV did not work, the power kept switching off for no apparent reason only to reset when the switches were activated. and the safe was locked and could not be operated and the WIFI non existent. Eventually after 2 hours and a number of increasingly agitated calls we were relocated to the 6th floor in an obvious upgrade. This is definitely a hotel of very last resort, suitable for very short stays.

As a foot note we did avail the invitation to text our comments to the SVP directly "whilst we were in the hotel" We had no response. Pay a few dollars more and get a far better product elsewhere.

Room Tip: If you must stay at this property Which is directly opposite a very good Mall then insist on a room...

I recently stayed at Hotel Eurotel, Manila. The website is enticing and and seemed like it would be a comfortable stay but on the contrary the hotel rooms are really tiny and extremely noisy. The hotel staff though courteous are barely of help. Totally disappointed with services- be it food, cleanliness of rooms or the wi-fi connection. A complete disaster recipe....please avoid!

When you come up to the hotel, the first thing you see is an ugly facade.
As you enter you are greeted by great staff.
  When I lived we were 5 people, 2 girls and 3 boys. the girls stayed in the 3 floor and we boys in the 6th floor.
  The first room on the 3 floor: dirty in the bathroom and aircon is not working properly.
  And now up to me on the 6th floor. when we came in the door the first thing we saw was a ceiling with large moisture damage from aircon. The bathroom was the bath tub with shower and the floor was always wet. In the rooms there were safety box, but with us in 6 floor box was locked and it was not opened before we left, even though we asked every day.
  Breakfast here was a nightmare. food was made at a sister hotel to the rear of the hotel.
Food was only hot meal and you had EVERY DAY say you wanted the room cleaned, the problem was that when you came into the room was the glasses not replaced, water on the bathroom floor and 3rd floor, the toilet was not cleaned.
Christmas Eve we had a small gathering of family, 19 people and we were put in the bar with sofas from enterees and very worn!

We stayed here for 3 weeks. Paid in advance

Only reason I'll come back here is the staff.

My wife and myself were very impressed with this Hotel. I was very impressed with the value for money and also with the friendliness of this establishment. The security here made us both feel real safe. The breakfast in the morning was very lami !! ( tasty ) I LOVED the beef tapa... The Hotel is easy to find and the room was very clean and comfortable. Our Bath was nice and the toilet was very clean.
