i love 168 shopping mall. it is heaven to me and my family. most products don't have prices on display so you can ask for bargain. there are wide ranges for clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, home needs, gift items and a whole lot more. i can spend the whole day here. they have ATM and money changer in case you run short for cash. lots of food too at the food court where you can eat while relaxing your sore feet. definitely, a better shopping experience than going out of the country just to shop.

This shopping mall has gained prominence in the Philippines as it boasts off a wide range of dry goods available for sale at reasonable prices. Garments and household stuff can be purchased here.

I am a frequenter here comparing the goods available in this place and other malls in Manila. I find that the range and price of goods here are at times better in comparison with Tutuban Mall. For instance, while there are more shops selling barong tagalog and formal dresses/gowns in Tutuban Mall, the price of the same products are cheaper in 168 though there are limited stalls.

Some winter accesories are available here and very much cheaper than procuring outside the Philippines.

Everything is cheap, but quality matches the price. A good place to stroll around as there are lots of interesting things for sale. Can become quite crowded at times. After awhile everything starts to be repeated so if you don't have time to look around everywhere you won't miss much. This is in the Divisoria area where you have to be careful of pickpockets etc. Be alert and take the usual precautions, but avoid going there in the evenings.

168 Mall is located in Divisoria. Divisoria is a wholesale/retail market where retailers both in Metro Manila and the provinces purchase their goods to re sell. Prices are really rock bottom low. 6 pcs of a kind is already considered as wholesale. But in spite of the cheap price that they quote you, you must haggle still. Price reduction anywhere from 30% to 50% is still possible. A word of caution thou, be fully aware of your immediate surroundings as pickpockets abound. If you come with a back pack wear it in front of you on your chest. It gets very very crowded on weekends and holidays specially to days leading to Christmas. Happy Shopping.

I really enjoy going to this place. When I am in Manila (which is quite often) I definitely visit 168 just for the experience and shopping. I had the opportunity to visit many different places around the world to shop, but I tell you shopping at this place is such a delight. I speak tagalog (Filipino language) and able to bargain my way, but the Filipino sales people and the Chinese owners are always so welcoming and friendly to all (make sure you know basic tagalog such as "Mahal" (expensive) and other helpful phrases). If you feel like you are getting ripped off, just walk away and move on to the next. Think of anything you would like to purchase and it is there: clothing, fake goods, shoes, electronics, hardware, lingerie, food , etc. (just check the merchandise well since this is a "budget" shopping mall, quality maybe sacrificed). There is always a good deal on everything. I suggest not to buy cosmetics and medicines since these are all made in China and you just dont want to take your chances.

Be careful with pickpockets, they can be very slick, (you must always be aware of your surroundings anywhere you go, so I don't hold this against this place). I suggest to get there early, preferably during the weekday (best to go with someone who knows the area, if you are staying at a hotel ask concierge if you can get a car hire for the day that can wait for you while you shop).

There are paid restrooms that are clean and equipped with toiletries, food court is on the top floor ( leave this place hungry and enjoy some authentic Chinese food in nearby Binondo (Chinatown) ).

Overall this is a "MUST" when in Manila (it beats all the Mega-Malls of the city which are really nothing special). This is a bargain hunters paradise. Enjoy and safe travels!
