A great place to get bargain items, knock off knock knacks and much cheaper than bargain markets in most of Asia (Sri Lanka excluded)
When you do go...

Scout prices
Ask for last price
Ask for additional discount or wholesale price (if you buy 6 or more)
Bring $200 and that should be moooore than enough
Can be done in 3 hours or less if you know what you want
As a lady I shop at Cookies and Cream
The Korean store without a name in the rotunda area of the third floor and by the restrooms
The bag stalls on the first floor
The shoe store by the ATMs on the third floor
Can't run out of surprises here
Oh their iPad casing stores

Stalls of all sizes, shapes and categories are scattered all over this multi-level and multi-building complex. The place is so big and usually so crowded that you could get lost inside. There are countless bargain items to choose from: toys, shoes, clothes, appliances, display items, appliances, personal hygiene, foodstuff, accessories, fragrances, everything! Haggling is a must. And beware of knock-offs, especially when the item is almost unbelievably cheap. As they say . . . you get what you pay for. Beware too of pickpockets. After shopping, you can rest your tired feet and satisfy your hungry stomach at their comfortable food court.

shopping at 168 is different than a couple of years ago. there are only a few items being sold less than a 100 pesos. the prices have skyrocketed! however, it is a comfortable place to shop since it airconditioned and a lot of food stalls are available at the food court

a definite haven (or is it heaven) for bargain hunters like my mom -- to bad she loves to drag me along. this mall was built after we moved out of manila, but mom never forgot the great discounts to be had in divisoria. it seems like everything... and i mean everything! can be bought here, especially little trinkets for giveaways at christmas. if you're like my mom, you start shopping for christmas around january... yes, every time is a great time to shop for christmas, if there's a good bargain! or so she says. 168 is not for the faint of heart though... whether bargaining or walking, the only thing that will limit you is your budget and your capacity to walk its hallways.
