The Bayleaf is a nice and relatively small hotel in Manila. The staff is trying hard to keep the hotels reputation, but even if they try to present 5-star food and prices for drinks & food, this is not a 5-star hotel... It´s clean with nice rooms, and the restaurant has a nice view... Food is good and the service is excellent. The hotel met our expectations, but it could have been better if the roof terrace were open for lunch, if they could have a bar at the street level and if they stop charging ridiculous prices for low quality ice-cream and warm beer at the terrace... And they´ve promised that they will...:-) And if they changed their paper-thin doors to keep the noise from screaming kids in the hallways out from 6 o´clock in the mornings...
