“Nice park”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

The park is a nice large park with lots to do. There is lots of lawn space to picnic or play on, gardens to explore, statues, fountains and food vendors. There is also an outdoor concert venue that gives free concerts every Sunday at 5pm. The park is nice for the Philippines, but could use some more maintenance. Restroom facilities are available at the park, but there is a small fee to use them.

“a very clean urban park”
Reviewed 13 March 2014

This huge urban park is located in Manila. Quite near the Manila Ocean Park (yes, near the sea). It is very clean, no smoking allowed, no sellers around. Many youths spent time for sports nearby, or enjoying the place. As you can see in some pictures, it has several monuments and statues.
Not really sure how to reach this place using public transportation (the famous-colourful Jeepney), since I used private car.

“Nice Park but not worth it.”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

The park is nice- large- clean. There are places to sit, a reflecting pools, etc. The park itself is nice but everything is a scam. We have been here twice. If you are not "local" you will be harassed every few minutes- photo, carriage ride- buy this...We could not even sit and enjoy ourselves. We did buy a cup of "buko juice" (coconut water). Well, the cup said "buko juice" but it was really water , sugar an a few pieces of coconut meat. There are a few areas of the park, like the Chinese garden, that cost 10 Pesos to get in. The people who work here are rude, arrogant and insulting. I was shocked - completely not what you would expect in the Philippines or Asia. Don't waste your time.

“Just have a look if you pass by”
Reviewed 5 March 2014 via mobile

After finished the walk in Intramuros, you can walk back along the Manila Bay and you will come across this park.

A park for locals to relax with their family and friends. But it's not very special. The only interesting part is the dancing fountain,a mini version of Dubai's most famous dancing fountain.

Other than that, nothing is really special. If you didn't go there,it will be fine.

“It depends what time of day you go here”
Reviewed 5 March 2014

Rizal Park has many moods depending on the time of day. It's a casual meeting place for friends at times, whilst at others it's a children's playground. Whenever you go, take time to walk around and people watch. You'll be surprised by what you may see - but best to avoid too late at night.
