This park has some trees and shade, an ornamental lake with fountains that looks quite impressive at night when they are illuminated by coloured lights and music. Stone busts of notable historic figures are dotted around the lake. A Chinese garden of little interest and a Jose Rizal monument. One of the few things worth seeing in the concrete jungle that is Manila

A clean park. Nice, green and fun.
Clean seems to be the rarest gem of all in Manila, which is filthy all over with terrible smells, so this is a great change for the eyes and nose!
Bring your camera and spend some time in here.

Whenever I go to Rizal park, my camera lenses are always ready! Because the place is full of picture-perfect sites, not just historic side but also the people who visit here. Lovers from young to old and families from big to small. There is so much to capture and to immerse with. I am happy I can always go here whenever I want.

with new management, the park has simply outgrown its old image of being messy, dangerous and uninterestng. it now has beautiful musical fountains, carraiges that take visitors around, and more security and safety for visitors.
best time to visit is around 7am to 9am and late afternoon till evening. intramuros is like ten minutes away from the park. they sometimes have free concerts, bazaars, etc.
