A huge church with great exhibits to look around.
When gets tired of being in busy Manila, this church is great to spend time for being holy with love.
Highly recommend fro anybody. Remind that you need to pay 200p for admission.

Along with the adjoining museum, this is a must see. The best example, best preserved and oldest church in the Philippines.

San Agustin is a beautifully preserved and active church built around a serene courtyard and flanked by beautiful gardens. The church is the only building in Intramuros that is still intact from colonial times and the history of the church is told through an exquisitely curated museum.

We were one of three small groups touring through the church grounds so it felt very private and reverent. I am so glad that we visited San Agustin and learned about the roots of Catholicism in the Philippines.

San Agustin Church the oldest Roman Catholic in all the Philippines.
It is located within the historical walled city of Intramuros and a World Heritage Site.
The Church beautiful has Baroque Architecture as its site goes back to the times of Spanish colonisation.

The challenge for our visit was trying to get in to have a look. We went on a weekend and tourists can not go in to view or take pictures during mass services (they may attend the service) or special events such as weddings, baptisms etc.
The day we went there was 4 weddings in a row and a rather rude lady who stood there chasing people out so it took a bit of patience and perseverance to finally get inside.

There is a Museum linked with the church which requires a small entrance fee also
