Hotel - Located close to robinsons place manila

Pros :
The lobby is done good , the bar and the restaurant is decent with pool tables...
The location of the hotel is good , with a 7/11 just outside the hotel , robinson place manila is just 5 min walk
the security is good , even the elevators needed the room card for access to particular floors !

cons
The wifi is only free for 30 mins in the hotel room and free in the lobby (the staff puts the password for you for lobby access)....

The price deal I got was ok for the room, but dint have free breakfast, i think for the value of money it was not worth
the rooms were large ,but ok , not modern , needs some refurbishment, the bathroom was also the same, decent but nuthing great
there was no locker in the room !

I think there are quite a few options in the surrounding places... with better prices and facilities...

Room Tip: check out places near by for better deals and good value for money with better add ons !

Had three night stay and enjoyed very central location! Rooms are spacious and clean...liked the mini lounge to relax & unwind! Seafront just around the corner...stay away at night too many homeless beggars and small kids!
Shopping & eating all around, Robinsons Mall around the corner, great choice if smaller than Asian Xxxl.. Very Interesting eating spots, bars clubs within 5 minutes walk.
Would be more comfortable if all rooms had windows, was bit dingy!
Wifi in public area good, just can pay for room connection...signal weak!!
Very busy road, especially at night but Casino across the road!!!
Staff attentive & very good security!!! Minimarket almost next door!

Room Tip: Ask for window..becomes depressing...also not near elevator doors!!!

Only steps to the famed Manila Bay, Robinson's Mall and only a 5 to 7 minute walk to the LRT Pedro Gil station. I booked this hotel twice in a month through AGODA and, given my limited experience with hotels in that area of Manila, I can state that at around $54/night (not including breakfast) this hotel is a good value. On both bookings my special request for a high floor, quiet room was granted. I got a very clean, large room but with a rather 'flat layout' and with a decent marble bathroom. In that price range it is the only hotel I know of which inlcudes hand towels; a little touch which, in my opinion, goes a long way.
The hotel with a rather impressive exterior and imposing lobby is central for Malate and Ermita and rests in the midst of some 5 star hotels. However the area is borderline seedy and very busy with heavy traffic. Still the hotel provides ample safety and personnel seem very professional and approachable. An obvious drawback is that in the information age, when a tiny cafe in a remote location could offer you free WIFI upon buying 'anything', the Executive Plaza Hotel only gives you 30 minutes of free WIFI per day! Last, since I did not have any meal at the hotel (breakfast was not included in my bookings), I cannot comment about that aspect of the hotel.

Room Tip: My room on the non-smoking 14th floor was quiet and even has a decent view of what could be Makati

Third time I have stayed in two years. Like the last two times, staff was pleasant with greetings any time of day and ready to assist any way they could. Rooms dont have a view...but o' well....they were clean.

Your impression about Manila will mostly depend on where you stay. If you are used to an organized city with clean streets and nice shopping malls, better spend more money and stay in Makati.

This hotel is quite average but you get what you paid for. The facility is a bit old but everything was working. It's close to Robinson Mall but hey there are malls everywhere in Manila.

The bed is comforting and the toilet is very clean.
The location to shopping mall is near and easy to find taxi and jeepneys around.
If you want to get a good rate, better book it online directly at their website. My room cost peso 2099.00 nett (superior)

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 December 2012 via mobile

during check-in they cant find my reservation, the lady at the desk said she will look for a room as they are fully booked and i arrived almost 9pm, after dinner i had room and asked for a one thiusand peso deposit.
paid nineteen hundred for the room as they have a special which is cheap, paid fifteen hundred at pension natividad for an ultra basic room with no TV.
the aircon worked very well, the room is very ckean, a big TV with a king size bed, asked for 2 single beds but not available,
the shower has great water pressure and lots of hot water, no tub and snall teeny soaps but next door is the hyatt, beside is a 24-hour convenience store, adjacent to robinson mall and a lot of money changers.
no breakfast included but the price is so cheap, earlier booked with palm plaza, a sister company and was quoted three thousand pesos, later had a promo of twenty six hundred with breakfast and a bottle of red wine, the breakfast is a set menu nothing to be amazed of and exhorbitant if you have to pay for it, having stayed there in the past. palm plaza though is efficient with handling reservations having stayed there at least 3 times.
executive plaza has one elevator so it gets crowded, its sister companies are beside each other, palm plaza and las palmas.
