I stayed only once, when diamond hotel were full. The hotel price is cheap, the receptionist were very friendly, they treating us every time we pass the reception :), there are single bed which is very small room, I stayed in double bed which was really big and clean, the internet is free with acceptable speed, the breakfast is limited, in general I felt like home because of friendly staff.

Room Tip: Better choose the large rooms, no much different in price.

I am often in Manila for business, and have recently been staying at Lotus Garden. It's not 5-star, but it doesn't have the price tag either. It's great value for money, well located, safe, and worth a visit.

I really like this hotel. I use to stay in City State Tower Hotel, but this is better. They have nice rooms but the bathroom is small. The restaurant is good and the bar has a billiard table. I will stay here more nights.

We book the room 5 months in advance then on check in had to wait 2 hours for the room to be cleaned. The air conditioner only blow slightly cool air the cover keep falling off of the air conditioner unit. The shower had no pressure and only a trickle of water would come out. We had to ring them everyday to get them to make up the room. Then on check out they charged us for a hair drier that was cracked, that we never used. On complaint they claim that they check the room every day when they clean it but since they didn't clean the room until we asked and we were there when they cleaned it I know this didn't happen. Booked hotel transfer to the air port and they supplied us with an outside van at full hotel transfer rates with out letting us know. Have stayed a lotus garden 5 times previous but never again. Would not recommend.

Room Tip: Choose a different hotel if you would a good room

The rooms are ok here, I would put them more on the lines of 25 bucks per night though, so it is a little overpriced. The shower has hot water, but takes about 5 minutes to run the water through before it becomes hot, also the ac is very basic old rotary switch ac. The rooms are all a little noisy.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that gets internet, or they will put you in a room outside the coverage area.

With Rizal Park, the National Museum, and a major mall just a few blocks away, this is a good place to stay if you want to be in the middle of where its at in the city. The inside of the hotel looks pretty good considering the price for staying. And it has a really good restaurant and bar downstairs next to the lobby. The location is great. Aside from the other attractions I mentioned earlier, there are also really good places to eat around the district, and places where you can enjoy the night life and also live bands. There are places to go that don't necessarily have all the sleazy entertainment, but if your into that stuff, there is sleazy entertainment to be found. Although, the stuff they have in the mini bars is a bit expensive. So if you want a drink of water or a kit kat, just go out and buy it from the 7eleven across the street.

Room Tip: They have quite rooms, but they don't come with a view as the window literally opens to a concre...

I flew to the Philippines for a week and stayed my last two days before returning back to the USA at the Lotus Garden in Manila on Aug 11&12, 2013. The hotel accommodations (The Customer Service, Restaurant and Staff were just amazing) They went out of there way to make sure our stay was the best possible. The hotel was very clean, and they always were concerned about our well being! I plan again to stay at the Lotus Garden my next trip back in 2014.
