“Small park in the middle of the city”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Nothing much to see in the Park or what they call a plaza. Be cautious of petty thieves around. Actually you can include visiting this place with Malate Catholic Church across and Aristocrat's Restaurant(Filipino food) right beside it and Manila Bay in one visit.

“Front of Malate Church”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

A park located in front of Malate Church. It was along Roxas Boulevard located right beside Aristocrat if you are facing to the area going to Luneta Park. It’s easy to identify, there’s a monument of Raja Sulayman and then a huge fountain. This park was commonly used during New year countdown.

“small park, big in elements”
Reviewed 25 July 2013 via mobile

This small park just across Malate church is frequently used during christmas or new year celebrations by big tv networks. Some small events like fitness programs are done here usually every weekends. And apart from the huge fountain thats seldom in use, this place doesnt serve any purpose except for the bad elements. What might be a small busy park in the morning for early joggers and those who wants to stoll in manila bay because a haven of prostitution and some criminal elements at night. So watch out for your belongings when in the area. It is surrounde by restaurants so no issue with food and a police outpost a few meters away is also a big help.

“Rajah Sulayman”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

My friend brought me to see the Park, to see the influence of the Arabs in Philippines, and was quite a surprise to me. Its a simple remembrance for the short lifted rule in the history of Philippines. You can further see the remain of the site where he used to ruled in the Intramuros.

“Good for the first five minutes and if your doing something”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

Its just the fountain named after a person with high profile, nothing to see much in it. This is a good hang out if your doing something like photo shoot. Most of the time this area is being used for programs, new year or christmas season or whatever program they can think off. It is good landmark in Manila but other than that, it's really a pity for this place. There are a lot of sidewalk vendors, sometimes there are beggars and "rugby boys", and at night it is a niche for prostitution, to think that this is just in front of Malate Church. Did not really enjoy this place whenever I walk by it.
