Lobby interior design are nice with the touch of modern designs for a hotel. Just an average front desk staff. The hotel and the rooms looks like a regular condominium which i think they decided to convert it into a hotel on a last minute because the rooms seems not designed for a hotel. Why? 1.) the room has overhead closet over a condominium style sink which you do not see on regular hotel. 2.) The toilet do not have ceiling exhaust fans which is a basic set-up on hotels 3.) Side doors are made differently and do not look like a hotel type door especially in the toilet 4) They still use regular metal keys!? keys like that can be duplicated anytime by hotel guests and staff. Security seems questionable 5.) Hallways do not look like hotel 6.) Swimming pool is so small that when you do a regular plunge without using your feet or arms, you can already touch the opposite side tiles 6) Slept all night and just to find out that the sliding glass doors are not locked and you cannot lock it at all? (room 205) The rate is high for the kind of product that they offer. They invested a lot on Fidelio but not on room keys. Free WIFI i think is the only consolation i can get from this hotel

Room Tip: Try other hotel, you might get a better deal for .

I lost my toiletry bag in this hotel leaving without checking the room before departure which is my mistake but you'd think that the hotel would actually keep your stuff in case you would return to recollect it...but they were not even simpathetic or didnt say much about it in the process. We had three people stay in one room and the charge is $2000 per head. Lucky I didnt pay for the room which was $3,500 for Deluxe Room. Perfect view from the small verandah though of Manila Bay. Mini Bar is triple the costs as well as food from the restraunt. Wi Fi is good. Water pressure is low in the private bath tub...I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it certainly is not value for the money just a rip off!!!!!

We choose the G Hotel for its location.

Waterfront hotels attract us (check posting on Manila Bay) and the "G" is conveniently located along Roxas Boulevard between the Marina and Malate (area with restaurants and other entertainment facilities).

The room we had is spacious and everything one expects in a hotel of this category was provided (toiletries, hairdryer, safe, etc.).

The staff is friendly and helpful. Yet, the bar on the roof top, which was a decision criterion to us, was for our time being not living up to its promise: no sun downer cocktail available :-(

Still, the view and the pool is nice. The Jazz music played is pleasing.

Where is light - there is darkness:

1. They serve shark fins in dumplings with the breakfast buffet!!! What a waste *argh* to spoil animals close to extinction. They need to take it from the menu.

2. We read about noise problems and yes, it is noisy. We had called and asked explicitly about the conditions and they explained to us the traffic circumstances. No problem for us city kids. But, they did not mention the construction site behind the building.

Warning to all guests in the next month!

There will be noise: trucks, jackhammers, etc. - even at night.

In general we can say a hotel worth visiting if you can arrange with the given facts. In the future we will not choose it again, if they do not eliminate the shark fin from there dishes.

Cheers

I&M

Had booked a 3 day stay but had to cancell due to family emergency. Received email confirmation of cancellation. G Hotel charged my AMEX . I had attached the AMEX statement thru email and yet G Hotel claims they did not charged me. Very poor accounting department, How could they not have records when AMEX was cahrged by them?
American Express is now dealing with this issue. It is very aggravating when you have all the proof ( satement of AMEX )and yet they said they don't have records!!!

Where do I begin...check-in staff couldn't even manage a smile although the doorman was always very pleasant. Allocated 504.....basically a prison cell facing an alley and an abandoned building next door. This was the noisiest hotel I have even stayed in (and that's saying something) Doors banging, elevator, staff & guest voices, constant foot stomping from room above. Rooms are bland, plain and cheaply furnished. Bathroom standard very poor. The 'safe' was not bolted down and could be lifted and removed with ease, nor were there any instructions as to it's use. Worst room service ever, medium rare steak came very well done..inedible. Breakfast omelette..revolting..."orange juice" turned out to be sunny delight.
Requested a room change.."we'll get back to you in 5 mins".....over 1 hour later....sorry only twins available we will move you tomorrow. Following day offered a room across the hall, it was absurdly noisy due to a construction compressor running outside....so stayed where I was in the cell. Couldn't wait to leave and will never return.

Not a bad hotel, not the cheapest but relatively good value for money. We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our holiday and didnt mind spending a little more to relax in a more comfortable European Style hotel.

Well what can I say. I have stayed in hotels all over the world. This one was the worst.
Presents well but once you get past that it all down hill from there.
Room Service: I don't know why they bother no food on the menu is available.
Breakfast: What breakfast. Most of the things are either old or finished.
Service: Worse then a 1 Star hotel
Bar: Always closed due to private local functions.
I guess I may seem harsh but I stayed 2 nights and the only happy thing about this place was leaving don't bother complaining they really don't care.
