“NO SANITARY PERMIT”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2012

i went to have some refreshment with my friends, the halo-halo was too long.. when it came, the top of the glass is filled with some black dirt, the manager said just change it.. when they change it, i found some pieces of onions inside halohalo.. i ask them again, they said, maybe in the fridge. i am sitting where i could see the kitchen, so everytime someone is openning the door, some cockroches are flying out.. i saw someone is hitting the cockroaches using his ladle while cooking!

“Barrio Fiesta”

We usually dine at Barrio Fiesta Araneta Center Branch (Ali Mall). My favorite is the crispy pata and kare-kare (ox tripe/oxtail in peanut sauce). Food is worth the money though there were some lapses with the service.
Staff were usually inconsistent with giving good service. Sometimes they are attentive but most of the time it would take some time raising your hands to call their attention. They should replace the old waiters cause they are less productive and less friendly than the younger waiters. They should also improve the grooming of the servers who consistently have long hairs and mustache.

“Great for everyday fare, not for special occasions”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2012

reserved the ground floor of their Bocobo branch for our wedding reception to seat our 120 guests. When we arrived, we were surprised to find the ground floor wasn't ready, and that they have set-up the second floor (which can seat 80 people max)! They were still setting up, adding chairs and tables as our guests started pouring in. In the end, we had to move our relatives to the ground floor (so they actually missed the goings-on of the reception). Humiliating and horrible!

You won't go wrong with their staple, the Kare-Kare and Crispy Pata.  Other items on the menu are worth trying too. Good value for the quality of the food.
