Description: For over 20 years, The Chocolate Kiss Cafe has been offering lovely cakes and great food in a friendly setting, perfect for families and barkada get-togethers. Born from the Apelo family’s love for baking, cooking, and eating, the restaurant has now become part of the lives and memories of many regular diners.

Chocolate Kiss is the only restaurant within the campus of the University of the Philippines for many years since no commercial building is located with the grounds of the academic campus. It is located at the Bahay ng Alumni and is accessible thru a jeepney ride of IKOT that brings students and visitors a quick tour around the entire campus. The restaurant is located at the ground floor and at the second floor. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will have a hard time finding a seat since they serve delicious meals. From light to heavy eaters, you can always find something in their menu. Dessert is also something to look forward too since their cakes and pies are mouth watering..from carrot cake, apple cake, chocolate devils cake ...a wide assortment indeed. The crowd is an interesting one since the milieu includes professionals, working people, students on a tight budget and the barkadas who wants to chat for hours.

The parking space outside Bahay ng Alumni is also quite convenient and you can easily find a spot to park. Chocolate Kiss is one of my favorite hangout joints...good food...at a good price and ideal location....away from the hustle and bustle of city centers.

Good location in a quiet university setting. Fast and courteous service. Not too expensive. Nice selections of desserts.

We usually take-out their chocolate cakes, prune cake & dayap cake. They're excellent. We seldom eat their meals.

Nice place to eat a brunch on sunday! They have all kind of food, so you can spend there a long time! Only thing is that it is a little bit far away, but the pancakes and pies will make your forget the long walk there.

Delight in bottomless real brewed tea, sweetened to taste with bottomless real, though watered-down honey; or in the signature Devil's Food Cake, Carrot Cake, or varieties of Cheese Cake.

Have a smack of the uber-crunchy Chix in a Basket, with its uber-zesty barbecue sauce; or the tasty Garlic & Mushroom Spaghetti, topped with your choice of grilled chicken or fish; or the rather more flossy than flaky Adobo Pandesal (which unfortunately, had been too dry or gritty at times); or the Chicken and Pork Adobo, which is the same fare, but with fried rice to pair, just as most locals would prefer; or for pollo-vegetarians or pescetarians, the Hainanese Chicken Rice, or the Crispy Tilapia with Grilled Eggplant; and for the meat lover, must start with the Piglets.

The second and ground floors sit on opposite sides of the building, and each carries its own exclusives. The latter affords al fresco dining, while the former, romantic evenings, serenaded on certain days of the week by the solo pianist, or the duo violinist and guitarist.
