“Major renovation and improventsare underway!”

Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center
Reviewed 8 September 2013

There is a lot of work going on in improving the facilities for students as well as tourist visitors. Various paths have been broken over the years by the underground activity of trees and in some places, the paths have become hazardous.

These are now being put right and it will make an even better place to visit.Unfortunately, many of the paths are inside the wildlife centre and so many of the animals cannot be viewed.

I understand that the work will be completed by March 2014 just in time for the start of School Holidays

Went there at noon but the numerous trees provided great shade everywhere. There were a lot of people, mostly families having picnics on a Sunday, students practicing and quite a number of photographers too since the place was really ideal for nature photography, but it wasn't crowded since the place was big. I didn't see much picnic tables/chairs but the people on a picnic were ready for it and had their own mats/blankets. It's a relaxing and peaceful place for a stroll, nice to bring the kids to see some animals and nature. My favorite spot was the view of the lake, really picturesque. There were small stores which sold noodles, chips, and drinks but not the heavy type of meal so it's either you bring your food or go there with a full stomach. The best part of it was the entrance fee was so cheap - P8.

It has a park inside and there a mini zoo. If you want to spend your afternoon or if you want to have an exercise this is the best place for you.

A place where family can spend their weekend for bonding. They can bring their food, set it up on a shady place under a tree and enjoy the wind and scenery. Children can play around. Nature is everywhere. There's also a man made lake.

Our first trip to this place, we were pleasantly surprised to see a wide lagoon in the center of the park. The attraction is also picturesque. The best part is, it's in the middle of Quezon City! However, you won't find any food stalls or shops inside the Park so bring your own food and water. Just don't leave your trash behind and place them in the proper waste bins scattered around the Park. And for a very minimal fee, your kids would enjoy staring at the collection of animals they have in the Park.
